The Rite of the Nine event inDestiny 2has reissued 12 dungeon weapons with new perks and an exclusive origin trait. If you can best these updated dungeons, you’ll walk away with some powerful Nine-themed weapons and cosmetic rewards.
One reward you’ll earn from each encounter in Nonary Manifolds, a new currency that can be exchanged for dungeon weapons. We’ll be going over how to get Nonary Manifolds and where you can spend them at. If you’ve stocked up on Curios of the Nine during this season, we’ll also show how to exchange those for a small stockpile of Nonary Manifolds to kickstart your dungeon weapon farm.
How To Get Nonary Manifold
Nonary Manifolds can be farmed by completing encounters inRite of the Ninedungeons. Dungeons that are listed under the Eternity tab of the Director are all tied to this event—excluding Grasp of Avarice and all non-dungeon content like Dares of Eternity.
Every encounter you clear will award a bundle of Nonary Manifolds.The encounter type and score dictate how many manifolds you’ll receive.In general, normal encounters award roughly 80 Nonary Manifolds; beating the dungeon awards closer to 200.
Additionally, you’re able to alsoexchange Curios of the Nine for Nonary Manifolds at The Emissary NPC in the Rite of the Nine hub.Curios are a material you can earn from Heresy’s Seasonal Challenges and the Chess community puzzle. Each Curios may only be exchanged once.
Emissary Bounties
The Emissary’s bounties also award Nonary Manifolds. Her daily bounties award 35; repeatable bounties drop 15 each.
Spending Nonary Manifold
Nonary Manifolds have one purpose currently:purchasing Rite of the Nine weapons.At the Rite of the Nine hub, you’re able to spend 250 Nonary Manifolds at the weapon chest to acquire a random weapon from the event.Weapons obtained this way have a chance of being adept, although they won’t roll with extra perks.
It’s worth noting that the chest can only drop weapons that are currently obtainable. The first two weeks of Rite of the Nine will only have a select few dungeons available to farm. For example, the first week only hasSpire of the Watcheravailable, so the weapons chest may only drop Spire of the Watcher weapons. Bear this in mind before you start focusing weapons. Once it’s the third week of the event, all weapons should be obtainable through the chest.
