Where To Find The Eye Of Cthulhu
The Eye of Cthulhu is a new boss fightthat was added with the Tides of Terraria update, and to find it,you need to make your way to the Terraria Dungeon, which can be found southeast of the Fisherman’s Point travel point.
Once you make your way to the island, go inside the dungeon andprogress to the end of it. This is where you will findthe Eye of Cthulhu waiting for you.
How To Beat The Eye Of Cthulhu
The Eye of Cthulhu is a Dark-type level 45 boss fight, meaning you should bring a Dragon-type pal as your active companion to help you in the fight, since Dark is weak to Dragon.
When it comes to weapons,bring any rifle you’re comfortable using, and don’t forget tostock up on healing potions, as you might need them.
This is a fairly straightforward boss fight, asyou mainly need to target the boss’s eye, which is its weak point, and let the Dragon pal of your choice help with the damage.
Among the Eye of Cthulhu’s attacks isits ability to summon minion eyesthat will seek you out, butthese can be easily shot downbefore they reach and damage you.
Another attack is the bossdashing directly at you. Luckily, this is easy to avoid, asyou’ll get a warning arrow that shows you the direction it will dash from.
Halfway through its health,the Eye will transform into a mouth and become more aggressivein its attacks, but they’re still fairly easy to dodge.
You can use the four pillars in the boss arena as cover if you need a breather or when you need to heal.
If you want to capture this boss, you’re able to do so when its health is very low. Take out your highest-level sphere and attempt to aim it from behind to increase the capture rate.
How To Get The Eye Of Cthulhu Mask
After you manage to defeat the boss fight,there is a chance that it will drop the mask, but it’s not guaranteed. So if you’re lucky, you might get it on your first run, but if not,you’ll need to wait for the dungeon boss timer to reset and then try again.
The Eye of Cthulhu Mask is a headgear piecethat resembles the actual boss fight, and it doesn’t seem to have any passive skill tied to it besidesmaking you look badass.
