It’s one of the more interesting layers in the game, seeing as it asks you to choose between paths, and that gimmick is used again here. While there’s no choice to make, the pink and blue jelly that transforms into steps is crucial.

The rules are simple - every time youdestroy a chunk of pink jellysomewhere,a chunk of blue jelly appearsin an identical place. Using that control, you need to destroy in a specific pattern to make a route to the three hidden Banadadium Gems in Great Switcheroo Hall.

How To Get The First Bananadium Gem In Great Switcheroo Hall

Thefirst Bananadium Gemis really just to show you how the central mechanic works. When you begin the level,hit through the pink jellyto make your way into the alcove. At the end of the alcove,climb up the chunks of blue jellymade by breaking the pink jelly.

At thetop of this step, you’ll findthe first Bananadium Gemwaiting for you.

How To Get The Second Banadium Gem In Great Switcheroo Hall

Once you go up this step,turn the cornerand you’ll see along rectangle pink jelly, and asmall square pink jelly.Destroyenough of thepink cubethat you canreach the rectanglewith the newly formed blue jelly, then climb up andpunch a tunnel through.

Jump to the blue rectangle jelly, and head right to the end.Before you climb up to the ledge, find thepunchable hole in the walland head through it where thesecond Bananadium Gem awaits.

How To Get The Third Bananadium Gem In Great Switcheroo Hall

After using the blue jelly rectangle to climb to the ledge in the upper corner, just above where you came in, you’ll see theBananadium Gem suspended in a wire cage. Head across themetal bridgeuntil you’re on top of thepink jelly cube. Punchstraight down the middle, thenacross towards the alcove, untilthe blue jelly below resembles an L shape.

Jump downonto the blue andclimb up the columnyou just made to reach thethird and final Bananadium Gem. After that, leap across to the barrel on the right and you’re able to make your exit.
