WhileRoblox’s Grow a Gardenmay primarily be about having a green thumb and growing your favourite plants, it’s undeniable that, for many of us, it’s all about those pets. Six new pets have been added as part of the Prehistoric Update, letting you get your very own dino buddies for your gardens.
These pets hatch from Dinosaur Eggs, so here’s everything you need to know about how to get and hatch Dinosaur Eggs, as well as which dinosaurs you can obtain and the traits and effects of each one.

All Dinosaur Pets And Their Traits
Here’s a breakdown of all the new dinosaur pets and their unique traits.
T-Rex
0.5%
It will devour a random mutation from your garden every 20.03m, after which it roars andspreads that mutation to 3.35 other random fruits.
Brontosaurus
1%
While in your garden,any pet hatched from an egg will have a 5.39% increase in base size and weight.
This bonus caps out at 30% per egg and the buff does not apply to Brontosaurus eggs.
Pterodactyl
3%
It will flap its wings every 10.54m,causing 3.29 random fruit to get Windstruck, with an 18.68% chance that Twisted is applied too.
Raptor
35%
While in your garden, there is a2.71% chance your fruit will get the Amber mutationafter being harvested, and you’ll alsogain 14.89% movement speedwith your player character.
Stegosaurus
28%
While this pet is in your garden, there is an8.22% chance that when you harvest fruit, you will harvest a duplicate.
Rare crops have a lower chance of duplication, while Prehistoric fruits have an extra 5.15% chance of duplicating.
Triceratops
32.5%
It will ram three random plants every 3.33m andincrease their growth by 33.33ml. There is a 15.40% chance that it will repeat this action each time.
How To Get And Hatch Dinosaur Eggs
There are two different ways you can get Dinosaur Eggs:
Graham does not accept dinosaur pets. Though most pets will generate a Dinosaur Egg, rarer pets you trade have a chance of generating a dinosaur pet instead.
It takes theDNA Machine one hour to work(and give you your egg). you’re able to reduce this time and increase how many eggs you receive by uprading the DNA Machine.
Once you have your Dinosaur Egg, place it in your garden and it willtake four hours and ten minutes to hatch, though you can speed this up for a cost.
