There’s an ever-increasing variety of materials you’re going to need to gather as you progress through the research and gear tiers inDune: Awakening, and some of those resources are going to be a lot easier to get than others.
One of the resources that’s the most sparse, and also one of the hardest to get until you’ve got some solid gear, is going to be Diamondine Dust. This is only going to be found in a few locations on the map, and these locations are either difficult to get to, or have a group of tougher-than-average enemies hanging around.
Where To Get Diamondine Dust
Diamondine Dust isfound in locations marked by the mountain symbol on the map. There aren’t many of these locations compared to many other location varieties, and the majority of them are clustered in the northern portion.
Diamondine Dust is found in lootable containers, and is not mined.
Locations With Diamondine Dust
There are a few locations that can have Diamondine Dust, including theHand of Khidr and the Mysa Tarill. The location here that’s usually going to net you the most Diamondine Dust for your time is going to be Mysa Tarill, but that fact doesn’t come without a catch.
Mysa Tarill is going to have quite a few enemies scattered throughout, and these are not your run-of-the-mill enemies. They are going to deal significant damage, particularly snipers and heavy enemies.
If you’remaking the trek out to Mysa Tarill, you’re going to want towear some of your best armor, and to take it slow. Keep fights to just a few enemies at a time, and work your way through the location looting chests comfortably. If you get a couple of melee enemies and a couple of heavy enemies on you at the same time, it can be difficult to manage the situation.
Stealth can be your friend here, and as long as you don’t sneak into an enemy’s eyeline, you can often loot containers unobserved.
