There are numerous questlines to undertake during your time playingThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, each offering a unique experience. These quests range from guild-specific missions to region-based objectives, and even tasks tied to particular factions. Each quest typically follows the story of certain characters, with you, the hero, stepping in to lend a hand.
One such faction you’ll encounter is the Black Bandits. After reaching Leyawiin and speaking with the Count, you’ll be tasked with eliminating this troublesome group. Once you’ve dealt with them, you’ll need to bring proof of your success back to the Count in exchange for a reward.
This quest does not appear in your journal, and it is a free-roam quest that you may do infinitely.
How To Start TheBlack BowBandits Quest
After youcomplete both theMazoga the Orc questandthe Knights of the White Stallion quest, you will be given akey to the lodge north of Leyawiin called White Stallion Lodge.
As you get knighted, the count asks you tobring him Black Bows as proof that you’ve slain Black Bandits. For each one you return to him, you will receive 100 Gold.
At the lodge, you will be able to rest and use it as your own house,but Mazoga will also be there, and she’s determined to get these Black Bows as well for some gold.
So, you cancomplete this quest either aloneorwith the help of Mazoga.
How To Complete TheBlack BowBandits Quest
If you choose to go alone and hunt down these Black Bows,there are a few locations just around the lodge where the bandits spawn, and these are:
Inside these caves, you will find Black Bandits. You can simply defeat them and loot their bodies to acquire aBlack Bow.
Alternatively, if you want to tag along with Mazoga,you need to know her schedule. She also visits the same three locations mentioned above, but during certain days.
you’re able to simplygo to the lodge around 2pm, as this is the time she departs on specific days, thenjust follow her and defeat the bandits.
However, keep in mind thatMazoga also loots the corpses for Black Bows, but you can always pickpocket from her later and get the gold yourself.
