The Tides of Terraria update introduced several new pals toPalworld, many of which are inspired by Terraria’s distinct style. Among them are unique slime variants, each one featuring a different color to help set them apart. These colorful slimes are more than just visual additions; they each bring something new to your collection.
But instead of settling for just one color, there’s a special variant that stands out from the rest. This particular pal combines all the colors into one, creating a vibrant, multicolored version that’s hard to miss. This is the Rainbow Slime and if you want to get your hands on it, then this guide will go over on how to obtain it.
How To Find The Rainbow Slime Pal
Just like all other featured Terraria pals in the game,these can only be found inside the Terraria dungeon, andthe same case goes for the Rainbow Slime Pal.
In case you don’t know where that is located, just make your waysouth of Mount Obsidianand from there you should be able to spot an island from afar just southeast of it.
Make your way to the island, and here you should find some stairs that willlead you to the portal. When you interact with this portal, you will be transported to the Terraria dungeon.
Now this dungeon is filled with all new pals and items that are featured from the Terraria game, and at the beginning, you will be able tospot different variations of slime mobs. However, these are not the ones that we are looking for.
Since these are one-color specific slimes and they are smaller, you need to progress further in this dungeon until you reach the point where you need to drop down to the lower level.
Now,from this point until the boss fight arena, a few Rainbow Slimes should spawn along the way. You will be able torecognize them by their big size and changing colors.
There isn’t a specific location, butthey are usually toward the end of the path to the boss fight, and if you’re not lucky and you may’t find any, just rerun the dungeon and you should find some.
Just like the Enchanted Sword, the Rainbow Slime is not your typical pal, andit can be used more as a fun companion to have.What you probably didn’t know isthat you can actually ride the Rainbow Slime,and it doesn’t require you to craft any saddle for it;it’s just unlocked by default.
While it does havelevel 1 Transporting, it’s not worth having it in your base as there are far more pals that can do this job better.
Rainbow Slime Pal does not have a Palpedia data page, so you won’t be able to find it.
