In the middle of all the conflict and danger, you might come across something completely unexpected: a man who isn’t worried about monsters or survival, but instead is stuck in one spot, frozen in place, and all he wants is to figure out when he’ll finally be able to move again. This is Lynwood, and he has been waiting for you to help him move again.
How To Start With Arms Wide Open Quest
With Arms Wide Open quest requires you to find Lynwood, who is in a situation you wouldn’t envy, as he has been cursed tostay in one position with his arms literally wide openand can’t do anything about it.
He is locatedjust northwest of Cuanacht,near Maggot’s Hut.
When you approach him, you will learn more about what happened to him and about the curse, andhe will ask you to find a Druid to help lift it.
This will begin the With Arms Wide Open quest, whereyou need to find the Druidandpotentially a remedy for the poor man’s curse.
How To Lift Lynwood Curse
The druid he is talking about isMaggot, and hecan be found at his hut just east of Lynwood’s location.
Go there and speak to him, and Maggot will have a long conversation before he admits that he did it unconsciously.
However, now that he realizes his mistake,he will offer you a concoction that should help the man move again. With this in hand, go back to Lynwood’s location and speak with him.
Pour the concoction down his throat,and shortly after, Lynwood will be lifted and able to move again.
Now, Lynwood is curious how you got your hands on the potion, andhe will want to know.
Here, you caneither tell him that it doesn’t matterbecause now he is healed and can move on with his day, oryou can mention that you got it from Maggot, the same druid that cursed him.
Either way, whatever option you pick, it will complete the With Arms Wide Open quest.
