Thorn-Choked Conveyoris a challenge stage fromDonkey Kong Bananzathat you’ll find early during your adventure in theLagoon Layer. Just like it sounds, this area isfilled with deadly spikesthat will quickly deplete your health if you’re not careful.
You’ll need to find a way to maneuver around the thrones all around the stage to find the path to the exit and thehidden Banandium Gemsalong the way. It’s a good idea to pick up each one of these collectibles to earn enoughstat points for new moves and abilities, but getting all of them is easier said than done.
Where To Find The First Banandium Gem
The first Banandium Gem is foundalong the main pathwayafter you pass two treadmills moving in different directions.Be careful of the thornsin your way, and punch the treasure to add it to your collection.
Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem
This is thetrickiest Banandium Gem in the entire course. It’s hiddenbehind a small section of thornslocated on theleft side of the wallwhile you’re on the treadmill covered with purple material. Once you find the wall, useR2 to pick up an explosive rockthat will destroy the thorns so you can grab the delicious banana.
Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem
The final Banandium Gem is located at the very end of the challenge course,right beside the barrelthat launches you back to the Lagoon Layer. Justreach the end of this levelto claim your prize and hopefully a stat point.
How To Complete Thorn-Choked Conveyor
The main obstacle in this challenge course is thevines covering sections of the walls and floor. Fortunately, you should have dealt with a similar situation at the Ingot Isle Cave-In. You should’ve learned how touse R2 to pick up sections of the floorto use as a weapon, which will be your main tool for surviving this area.
Once you enter,step onto the first treadmillin front of you anduse R2 to pick up a large rock.Hit Y to swing the rock, which willdestroy the vines in your path. Repeat this process until you reach the first Banandium Gem.
Before you continue, you’ll notice that the floor looks different and that there are significantly more thorns in the way.Press R2 while standing on the purple section of the floor to pick up an explosive rockthat you can throw to destroy large chunks of thorns.Hold R2 when you have a rock in your hand tomake aiming easier.
Continue topick up and throw the explosive materials until you reach the end of the level, where you can grab the last Banandium Gem and go back to the main layer to find more secrets.
