Spiked-Tide Slope is a challenge course inDonkey Kong Bananza, located in the second major area of the game, Hilltop Layer. you’re able to find the entrance to this stage at the base of the banana-shaped mountain across from Fractone Village.

This level requires Donkey Kong and Pauline to run up a hill filled with dangerous obstacles. Like every other challenge course in Donkey Kong Bananza, you may find three hidden Banandium Gems throughout the stage, which are worth looking for to help you earn enough stat points to unlock new skills and abilities.

Where To Find The First Banandium Gem

The first Banandium Gem is located at thetop of the first slope. There are rolling balls with spikes on them that will hurt you if you touch them, so make sure youuse R1 on the glowing sections of the floorto raise them and give yourself some protection for a few seconds.

The spiked balls drop in a specific pattern that you can utilize to make this stretch easier for yourself. Time your movements to easily make it to the first Banandium Gem.

Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem

This Banandium Gem is found at thevery end of the stageand acts as a reward for clearing the course. To reach it, all you need to do issurvive Spiked-Tide Slope and reach the topto receive this Gem.

Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem

you’re able to find this Banandium Gem at the end of the stage, beneath the platformholding the second collectible and a barrelthat launches you back to the overworld. To reach it,step off the left or right of the last bridge in the courseto land in the hidden area. You can findtwo Boom Bombshere. Aiming one at theconcrete on the ceilingand theother at the concrete containing the spiked balls.

Turn aroundfrom where you found the Boom Bombs andclimb the pillar, which leads you to a climbable part of the ceiling. Continue down the path until the end, where you candrop and claim your prize.

The Boom Bombs do not respawn, so if you miss, you’ll need to restart the stage and try again.

How To Complete Spiked-Tide Slope

Your first obstacle is a small slope with abarrage of spiked balls rolling down it. you’re able to eitheruse R1 on the glowing sectionsof the floor to give yourself some protection, orfigure out the patternthe balls are falling in so you can easily avoid them on your journey uphill.

Once you’re at the top, you’ll face a large, winding path filled witheven more spiked balls. Fortunately, you’re able to pull someBoom Bombsfrom the ground tochange their path. attempt to blow up the area on the edge of the map, so the ballsroll straight offand leave some of the path clear for you to travel on.

You’ll reach a second area withmore Boom Bombsthat you can use tocreate a new pathfor the spiked balls to follow. Once you clear this section, justwalk across the bridgeto complete this challenge course.
