Side missions inCyberpunk 2077are a great way to explore the world of the game, plus they also show you how alive Night City and the surrounding areas are. This can help you get immersed far better. Reported Crimes side activities, such as You Play with Fire…, not only encourage you to discover new locations, but they can also reward you with some unique gear.
On top of that, doing these Reported Crimes could potentially open up new quest lines that could expand the story of Cyberpunk 2077. However, You Play with Fire… Reported Crime has left players a little confused. By reading this guide, everything should make more sense.
How To Trigger You Play With Fire…
Before continuing, to trigger this Reported Crime, you’ll need to haveatleast started Act 2. If you have either started or completed the first story mission in the second act, calledPlaying for Time, this side activity should become available.
Once you’re in Act 2, you can do the You Play with Fire… Reported Crime at any time —you just need to find it.
To start, open up your map and look for alarge H-shaped building in Westbrook. It should be on thefar east side of Charter Hills. When you reach the building, there will bea gate saying No Entry. You can walk past it,and nothing will happen.
As you get past the main gate,turn right into a courtyardwith trees and people walking by. By walking to the middle of the courtyard, you’ll start to seea few enemies patrollingand talking to one another.
You need to fight them. These enemies aren’t that hard to beat,but they can overwhelm you. By striking first and being fast, you’re able to easily get through each NPC.
After all of them are down, there will beone with an icon over themindicating they’re holding something important. From looting the fallen NPC, you’ll earn some Eurodollars, but more importantly, you’ll also acquire theArchived Conversation: Zeitgeist and Jorge.
When youread the conversation, you’ll unlock the You Play with Fire… Reported Crime.
You Play With Fire… Walkthrough
The good thing is that you don’t have to go far for the crime;it’s across the streetfrom the area you’re in. Plus,it’ll show up in your Journal, allowing you to easily track the mission.
Once you’ve made it to thedesignated spot called Zeitgeist’s Den, there will be enemies on one side, away from the building you need to go to.
You don’t need to fight them, but they do offer high XP and drop high-tier gear. You may choose to fight them; otherwise, you can complete the mission without engaging anyone near the den.
By following the tracker,you’ll be led to a small building. When you enter the building, there will be atable across from youwith a case on it.
To complete the Reported Crime, you mustinteract with the case and collect what’s inside.
Rewards For Completing You Play With Fire…
When you open the case up, you’ll earn theElectric Baton Beta, Cyclone melee mod, and the List of Tasks. The last item (List of Tasks) is what you’ll need to finish the Reported Crime.
However, the main reward, and the one that makes this Reported Crime worth doing, is that it opens up another quest chain calledNitro (Youth Energy). You’ll earn theYaiba ASM-R250 Muramasabike, which makes traveling around Night City and the Badlands a better experience.
