Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalonfeatures a variety of quests, but not all of them will be clearly marked with icons like question marks or exclamation points. Instead, you’ll need to talk to characters across different towns and see who might have something for you to do.

Each region includes several NPCs you can speak with, and many of them will offer tasks during conversations. These quests can range from small errands to longer side stories, depending on who you’re helping. Most of the time, completing these tasks will come with a decent reward, making it worth taking the time to ask around.

How To Start Prey Of The Father Quest

After you reach the third region of the game, known as Forlorn Swords,make your way to Sveinn Villagelocated justnorth of the region.

In this village,you should find a lady sitting sharpening her blade, so approach her and speak to her.

You will learn that Vesna isrequiring your help in dealing with the forest butcherand bringing proof that you dealt with this matter.

If you agree to help her, then the Prey of the Father quest will begin.

How To Complete Prey Of The Father Quest

Your objective is clear, and you need to make your way to the butcher’s location whocan be found east of the village,so go there and find it.

When you arrive,you will find the hunter there standingand waiting for you, and as soon as you approach him, he will attack you.

The hunter’s name is Prey of the Father, and he is not that hard to deal with. The most used attack he will perform issummoning a bear that will aid him in the fight.

Along with that,his fight is primarily just melee using his knife, but a lot of his attacks will knock you back and behind, which can leave you vulnerable for a few seconds.

So your best bet for this is touse mostly your spellsbut focus on the bear first and kill it, even though he will summon another one later, but having to fight one person is easier than two.

When you manage to defeat him,loot his body for the proof of the huntand for his weapon and gear, then head back to Vesna.

Show her the proof of the death of the Prey of the Father, and then, as a reward,you will receive the Rim Bow.
