Fortnitehas expanded once again withLego Fortnite Expeditions. With more content comes a plethora of things to find and collect. Some may be more important than others, like Essence. Because there are so many things to pick up while playing the game, some collectibles may get overlooked. A good example of this is Intel.
The reason being, is that, unlike other items you find in each mission, Intel requires you to do certain things before you may earn them. If you’re having a hard time obtaining Intel, there may be a good reason why. You can use this guide to find the answer.
How To Get Intel
The simplest way to get this collectible is by doing anymain mission in the Mission Terminalslocated all over the Superhero Academy. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind when completing these quests.
First, you have tocomplete all main mission objectives, such as downing bosses like Titan or Spire. Second, you must do the entire mission. If you quit, not onlywill you lose XP and Essence, you’ll also lose Intel.
So, make sure you’re going through the mission andcollecting the items in the chestbefore you leave.
Each mission will have different objectives, but the same rule applies: complete all of them to get Intel.
Upon completion, you should earn at least three Intel cards. You can easily check how much you’ve gotten when the mission finishes. A screen will pop up showing youeverything you’ve done and earned, including the Intel.
You can also acquire Intel bytalking to certain NPCsat the Superhero Academy, like Superman.
However, some may have missions attached to them, which are lucrative if you’re looking to upgrade your hero’s abilities.
How To Farm Intel
Each mission in the PVE mode can vary in difficulty. The tougher ones will yield more rewards, and easier tasks will give out a little less. However, if you opt to go the easy route, farming can be more consistent.
A great mission for farming Intel would beO-Star Vacation, located in the south. It requires you to set up a few Comm Relays, rescue trapped NPCs, and defeat a final boss.
If you don’t see this mission in the terminal, just wait till the list refreshes after 30 minutes. Alternatively, you’re able to hover over any of the missions to see their difficulty level. Ideally, the ones you want to farm in are going to be in the normal difficulty tier.
While this mission and its objectives are on the easy side, you should go to the location with at leastone other player. If you attempt it solo, the high volume of enemiescould overwhelm you.
Finally, it’s worth doing the easier missions first. They’ll give youbetter weaponsthat you may take to the harder challenges. In turn, Lego Fortnite Expeditions can be easier to play.
