There are a lot of materials that you will need to keep track of while playingDune: Awakening. Shortly after starting the game and venturing out on your own, you’ll be introduced to the Fuel Cell. You’ll need to gather a fair amount, but it can be hard to find them if you don’t know where to look.
In this guide, we will take a look at where to find Fuel Cells in Dune: Awakening. Once you learn their location, you’ll be able to obtain more in no time. It’s also important to note that you don’t need any special tool to gather these; you can just pick them up right off the ground.
Where To Find Fuel Cells
So, you’ve just been tasked with finding Fuel Cells. If this is your first time encountering the item, then you probably also need to gather Salvaged Metal at the same time (after reaching your first scavenger camp).
Fuel Cells arefound around these scavenger camps. When you spot a camp, take out any enemies, and then look around. Any available Fuel Cells will belying on the ground for you to pick up.Sometimes, you may find Fuel Cellsnear larger chunks of Salvaged Metal, allowing you to quickly gather both.
Struggling to find scavenger camps?Look around the rocky areasand keep your eyes peeled for any bits of buildings/structures that poke out. While it can be hard to find one initially, they aren’t too uncommon. If you are playing with others, split up and search rocky land.
Fuel Cells are alsofound in wrecked ship locations, such as theWreck of Alcyon. If you haven’t made it this far yet, don’t worry! you may still just search around scavenger camps.
How To Farm Fuel Cells
A great feature of Dune: Awakening is the fact thatresources will respawn.Once enough time has passed, items will come back.As such, we recommend making a ‘circuit’ of sorts, going from multiple camp locations that have Fuel Cells.
Loot a camp, take their Fuel Cells (and other resources), and thencontinue onto the next known location. You can add as many looting stops as you want; when you’re done, just loop around to the first location. At this point, the Fuel Cells may have respawned, allowing you to collect them again.
This also means that theenemies respawn, so you’ll need to take them out again. If it’s been a day or two since you’ve looted a specific camp, stay cautious.
