Story-Based Achievements And Trophies
Episode 1 Complete
Reach the end of Episode 1.
Each of these story achievements/trophies in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will trigger as soon as you see the “Chapter End” screen. Be sure to save your game before proceeding into the next chapter in pursuit of the next episode trophy!
Demon Charmer
Gain a demon through the art of Confinement.
As part of the trial at the beginning of the game, you’ll learn the Art of Confinement by capturing a level 2 Ukobach. This will serve as your very first demon in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, and you’ll rely on it throughout the coming combat trials as you branch out into grasping the basics of elemental skills and critical damage-dealing.
Dark Realm Wunderkind
Win your first battle.
In the earliest chaptersof Raidou Remastered, Raidou is made to undergo a combat trial that teaches you the meat of the game and its mechanics. This trophy will unlock as soon as you complete your first battle during the combat trial that teaches you how to best use Raidou’s sword to deal both light and heavy damage to opposing demons.
I Am Raidou Kuzunoha XIV
Succeed the name of Raidou Kuzunoha.
The game’s tutorial chapter teaches you the ins and outs of everything related to being a Devil Summoner in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army by making you progress through an increasingly complicated trial. Clear it by recruiting an Alp and handling the boss fight at the end of the hall - you’ll receive the title of Devil Summoner and lose your name to the village.
Rising Devil Summoner
Enter the Dark Realm for the first time.
After getting your bearings in the first chapter of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you’ll need to head out to a nearby rift near Ushigome-Gaeri Bridge. Though you’ll enter the Dark World quite a lot throughout the game, this achievement will pop when you enter Dark Tsukubo-cho as part of the main story to save Rin.
Capital Defender
Perform a Regular Fusion in the Goumaden.
After leaving Dark Tsukubo-cho, you’ll gain access to the Goumaden now that Victor, the scientist performing experiments within, has returned. There’s plenty to do here, like register devils or ask Victor for help explaining what all these new mechanics are, but the main draw here is fusing new devils to use in battle and log into your Devil Chart. The first time you fuse a new devil in the Goumaden, this trophy will unlock.
Local Hero
Purge an Aril Rift.
Gouto will ensure your attention is drawn to your very first Aril Rift in Tsukubo-cho, but these combat trials pop up in each area of the Capital and will need to be purged periodically. The left inari statue at the Nameless Shrine offers rewards for hitting completion goals, too.
Hand of God
Perform Sword Alchemy for the first time.
After finishing the first chapter of the game, you’ll unlock Sword Alchemy in the Goumaden to begin upgrading Raidou’s weapons into some pretty powerful axes, swords, and spears.
Other Achievements and Trophies
Vanquisher of Evil
Purge 20 different Aril Rifts.
By making it a point to purge Aril Rifts periodically, especially since they’re a great way to confine new demons and boost Raidou’s experience level, you’ll eventually earn the Vanquisher of Evil achievement (and another reward from the left statue, too).
Master of Demons
Perform Raidou’s Combat Skills 300 times.
Whether it’s Spirit Slash, Devil’s Bane, or your special Sword Skills, use these attacks a total of 300 times across your playthrough to unlock this trophy.
Legendary Kuzunoha
Defeat enemies with Devil’s Bane 50 times.
Maxing out Raidou’s spirit gauge by performing combat combos will charge your special Devil’s Bane attack, which does a massive amount of damage to all enemies currently on the field. It’ll take some doing to do it 50 times in the game, but it’s usually wise to save it for bigger battles with multple waves of foes, or for the times you’d like the EXP for Raidou and the team but don’t quite feel like battling at the moment.
Underworld Savant
Gain 30 demon allies through the art of Confinement.
Before long, you’ll be focused largely on making new demons at the Goumaden, but capturing them through the art of Confinement allows you to gain these ingredient demons for free to save time and yen at the Goumaden.
Peerless Champion
Defeat 1,000 enemies.
You may trigger this one on accident by the end of the game, if you’re often fighting demons along the way during story chapters and Dark Realm investigations. Every demon that falls in battle, regular demons and boss fights alike, counts for one enemy, so better get fighting!
Taisho Swordsman
Complete a Case File.
Case files are optional side quests you can complete between episodes, with new ones unlocking throughout the game to provide dozens of helpful rewards that Raidou can use along his journey. This unlocks the first time you finish a Case File.
Renowned Summoner
Perform 50 demon fusions.
With more than 120 demons in the devil chart in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you’ll be performing dozens of fusions with Victor in the Goumaden. This unlocks when you’ve logged demon number 50, whether it’s a remake of a logged demon or a new fusion.
Demon Commander
Receive 50 letters from demon allies.
When you fuse demons in the Goumaden, the most loyal among them will leave Raidou a letter before they go.
Unbound Summoner
Register all demons in the Devil Chart.
You’ll need to put in plenty of work to reach the upper levels of Raidou’s combat experience, since there are more than 120 familiars to fuse, confine, and log.
Kounno-ya Habitue
Obtain the highest discount at Kounno-ya.
The more you buy things from the owner of Kounno-ya, the more he’ll come to like Raidou and offer progressive discounts on his merchandise.
Urban Mystic
Become a recognized regular at Shin-Sekai.
To make the owner of Shin-Sekai recognize you, you’ll need to visit fairly often and purchase his sodas.
Timeless Summoner
Forge every weapon.
You don’t need to use every weapon you forge, but doing so unlocks that weapon’s combat skill for Raidou to equip onto any weapon. Create each weapon at least once for this achievement.
Dimensional Detective
Learn all of Raidou’s Combat Skills.
Combat skills can be acquired by fusing weapons in the Goumaden with the Force logo beside the skill name.
Lightning Blade
Complete all Case Files.
With new Case Files unlocking regularly throughout the game, you’ll need to reach the final chapter to have access to each one.
Shrewd Opportunist
Have Gouto pay the streetcar fare.
If you try to ride the streetcar without any yen to your name, Gouto will cover it for you, begrudgingly.
Worldly Summoner
Raise your Summoner rank 30 times.
As demons increase their loyalty, Yatagarasu will bestow new titles onto Raidou, which often comes with the ability to carry more tubes for extra demons.
Sovereign Summoner
Complete the game on Detective Legend difficulty.
This is the hardest difficulty mode offered in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, not for the faint of heart! Be sure you’ve got the hang of combat before opting into this mode, but you can also change it from the settings menu if you change your mind.
