Thankfully, you won’t always have to flee from the vengeful Wyrdstalker. While a powerful foe, they can indeed be slain and looted like a common peasant or wolf. We’ll show you how to get the better of this fiendish Wyrd creature and buy yourself some peace and quiet at night. It won’t be easy, but man does it feel absolutely epic to deal that final blow.

Where To Find The Wyrdstalker

The best way tofind the Wyrdstalkeris to leave any protected area, like a city or campfire with cobwebs,around 10:00 at night.This is when the Wyrdness takes over and manipulates the worldoutside the Menhir’s reach.

The clock will turn gold to warn you about the danger!

Once youleave the safety of civilizationand the fire, a gold ring will appear in your viewuntil six in the morning. This is the most dangerous time to be outside asmonsters are strongerand the Wyrdstalker will appear.

You’ll know the Wyrdstalker is nearwhen the music changes. A warping sound willdisrupt the usual eerie music, and you’ll hear the Wyrdstalker nearby. Take a moment to look around so he doesn’t surprise you.

How To Defeat The Wyrdstalker

The Wyrdstalker will slowly follow you. Once he’s close, he’lldash and strikewith one of his massive swords. These will easilyknock you backand take a large portion of your health.

It’snot worth even attemptingthis fight until youreach level 20,though yourbest odds are at level above 30.

It can be killed, but youneed to be patient. Make sure youdump around a dozen or so points into strengthor spirituality, as you’ll needpowerful melee or magic skillsto bring him down.

Unfortunately,rogue builds will have a harder timewith this fight. It’snigh impossible to sneak upon him and hemoves far too quicklyto draw your bow, aim, and fire before he strikes.

Upgrade your equipment to reduce its weight so you can move faster. You’ll need all the movement you can get.

An ideal weapon isthe Duelist’s Blade, which you may pull out of a corpse pinned to a rock in Cuanacht,near the Harpist’s Tomb. This grants a bonus when facing only one enemy. You may also want topick up Perceval’s equipmentfromthe Corrupted Temple, as your attacks will be stronger when dual-wielding.

Once you have everything ready,save and set outfor the wilds of Avalon to face this creature. It’s a relatively simple strategy ofevading his lunges and combos, then sliding in to deal a few hits.Rinse and repeat until his health is low–and thankfully, he’s one of the few enemies thatdoesn’t try to heal.

Bring a lifesteal spell along with plenty of potions!

You only havea short time to fighthim. As soon as the morning draws near, he’llfade away and you’ll lose any progressyou made. It may take a few tries, butthe Wyrdstalker can (and will) fall by your handeventually.

Wyrdstalker Drops

When you finally defeat this spectral four-armed swordsman, you canloot the remainsfor some valuable items. In addition tonearly 200 Ethereal Cobwebsyou can pick up, you can also claimnumerous Immaculate Unidentified Items.

Set up camp andthrow Ethereal Cobwebs on the fire, then use more toidentify the objectsyou found. They range fromlarge potions to enchanted weaponswith high upgrade stats.

Even if you don’t find the items useful, you’re able to sell them for a small profit.
