Palworldadds several new enemies in the Tides of Terraria update, including a new raid boss called the Moon Lord. Terraria fans might already be familiar with the iconic boss, but it looks even more intimidating here than in its pixelized form.
It appears like an intimidating titan that you would love to take on if you are craving a challenge. To summon it, you need to craft Celestial Sigil to have it appear on your base. It’s a tough boss, and you will need strong, long-range weapons to have an advantage. Considering that you can only damage it at specific spots, you have your work cut out.
How To Craft Celestial Sigils
To battle the Moon Lord, you first need to summon it. You needone Celestial Sigilto bring the Moon Lord into your world using the Summoning Altar, which would start the Raid.
The Celestial Sigil schematic is obtained after you defeat the Eye of Cthulhu. Go into a room that unlocks after the boss battle to grab it.
You can craft theCelestial Sigil on a Primitive Workbench. You need 100 Hallowed Bars to craft one.
Preparation For The Moon Lord Raid Boss Battle
The Moon Lord is one of the toughest bosses that you will face in Palworld. You cannot beat it without the right preparations and weapons. Close-range weapons will not work against it at all. You willneed long-range weapons to attack the specific partsof its body.
Furthermore, the Moon Lorddoesn’t have a type, so you cannot use specific Pals for battle advantage. You need to use the strongest pals and weapons to stand a chance.
We recommend crafting theCharge Rifle, Plasma Cannon, or Rocket Launcher, as these weapons will give you the most damage in fewer hits. Teach your Pals strong long-range moves, for example, you can teach Beam Comet to your Jetdragon, or Nightmare Ball to your Selyne.
How To Beat The Moon Lord
Moon Lord will not receive any damage if you keep attacking its body. You instead need toaim for the eyes when it opens them in its head and hand areas. Be careful while attacking, as the boss will also shoot attacks from here. Your Pals will automatically damage the areas that need to be hit, and you can just follow their lead.
It can be hard to shoot at the eye above his head, as it’s too high for you to aim your gun. You can either leave that to your Pals or climb up the structure on your base to target it.
The eyes will shootprojectiles and lasers at you, so you will need to be active while dodging and attacking simultaneously. It will also summonseveral eyes around itself and shoot them towards you. The eyes hovering around it will also shoot laser beams.
After you have depleted the health of the eyes on its body, you will noticethat your pals are attacking it in the middle of its body, near the neck area. You need to shoot here to quickly defeat it. You will get the following rewards after defeating it.
You may also get the Moon Lord Mask or Legendary Meowmere as reward, but they have a low chance of dropping.
