There area handful of bounties that you may dive intofrom the early stages inTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalonvia the bounty board in the Horns of the South fortress. These bounties will task you with tracking down a group of dangerous bandit leaders as you journey through the Horns of the South.
These bandit leaders are powerful foes, especially in the early game, so you’ll want to come prepared with your strongest gear and plenty of healing potions to keep you alive. Rusty Ardghal is a difficult foe who features a hard-hitting, lumberingstyle akin to Senan the Giant.
To begin this quest, head to the bounty board at theHorns of the South fortress in the southwestern cornerof the map. Check out thebounty boardadjacent to Cillian in the central courtyard area.
This is one of the initial four bounties on the board and will be available from the start of the game.
Once you’ve read about your target, you’ll need to head northeast from your current location to thecentral area of the Horns of the South map,where you’ll find Rusty Ardghal waiting for you.
How To Find & Kill Rusty Ardghal
The fastest way to get to Rusty Ardghal is by teleporting to the King’s Road fast travel point if you’ve unlocked it.
If not, head to the Ruined Broch and go west, or start at the Abandoned Village where you fought Bald Cait, and go south.
Whichever method you choose to approach from, you’ll need to get to the ruined bridge to find Rusty, so prepare to head up a hill if you approach from below via the Ruined Broch.
Once you get to the bridge, defeat the guard near the entrance and unlock the King’s Road fast travel point, then progress forward.
On the bridge, you’ll find Rusty Ardghal waiting with a groupof Deranged Highwaymen and Archers ready to attack as soon as you approach.
Clear out the handful of guards standing in your way,and eventually, you’ll come to the end of the bridge where Rusty will finally fight you.
The area is fairly constricted, so come prepared with strong spells or melee weapons and get ready to evade or keep distance fromRusty’s massive Bone Club.
If you’ve already fought Senan the Giant, then you should approach this fight similarly, keeping away from Rusty’s long reach to avoid being knocked down by his attacks.
If you prefer to use melee weapons, stay far away from the edge of the bridge, or you could be knocked off by one of Rusty’s power attacks.
Keep movingand chipping away at Rusty’s health after his slow, telegraphed attacks.

With your loot and proof of your deeds in hand, head back to the Horns of the South fortress and speak to Cillian to collect your reward:
