Secrets inTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avaloncan be quite rewarding when you find or stumble upon them, and they come in many forms, such as hidden characters, highly missable questlines, or undiscovered locations.

If you have a habit of exploring too much in an open-world game, you will most likely stumble upon locations that you may interact with until you reach a certain point in the story. This is the case with the Tomb of Sir Gawain location, which you can find as early as when Act 2 begins, but you won’t be able to reveal its secret until the end of the Act.

How To Beat Sir Bertilak

There is only one path to follow inside the tomb, so progress forward to its end until yousee a character standing in a round area.Interact with it and the character will tell you that they need your help in letting their souls rest, meaning you must engage in a fight.

The first boss fight is against Sir Bertilak. He wields atwo-handed axeand will be constantly aggressive in combat, delivering combos. In addition,he can dodge many of your attacksand is pretty strong at counterattacking.

From range,he can send multiple waves of magic that will damage you, and he also has a spell that will knock you back.

The fight is all aboutconstantly positioning yourselfand moving while focusing more on magic attacks than melee, becauseSir Bertilak definitely excels at melee.

So your best bet is to stay at a safe distance, constantly cast spells at him, and block or dodge his incoming attacks.

You can accidentally trigger both fights if you happen to attack the man sitting on the chair, who is Gawain, however, it’s best todeal with Bertilak first.

How To Beat Sir Gawain

After you manage to defeat Sir Bertilak,a second boss fight will start, this one against Sir Gawain himself. Gawain is wieldinga two-handed sword that deals poison build-upandhas similar attack pattern to Sir Bertilak.

However, he has an additionalspell that can send multiple fireballsand is overall more powerful than Bertilak, so the same strategy applies here, just be extra careful.

Keeping distance, dodging attacks, and focusing on magic combat works best for these.

After you complete the quest, make sure to loot both bodies to get their full armor set alongside their weapons.

You can do this quest whenever you feel prepared, so don’t feel pressured if you are not doing enough damage to them or when you get killed in just a few hits.

Do other quests, level up your stats and skill points, and upgrade your gear and you should be fine.
