Most games, when you are going around seeking a romance, tend to put you into an ultimatum in the event of you attempting to find love with multiple people at the same time. With so many dateable objects to flirt with inDate Everything, surely it is not so cruel as to make you choose just a single lover?
It is not at all. You can find love with as many people as you want, even every single one of them in a single playthrough if you want. But what if you want to push it a step further? What if you want the people you love to love each other, too? Well, that’s possible too, though significantly rarer.
How Do Polyamorous Relationships Work?
In Date Everything, there are three endings you can achieve with every character, of Love, Friends, and Hate. There are no exceptions to this, just some people who are more satisfied with being friends than lovers. So what about when it comes to polyamorous relationships? Well, these canonly occur between specific characters.
Love is found based on mutual understanding and shared interests, so it stands to reason that Dateables would only be comfortable being in love with another Dateable they also have a relationship with.you may’t just pair any two Dateables you’re also in love withtogether. As such, there are only a small number of actual polyamorous relationships in the game.
As to how to achieve them, it is different for each pairing. For some, it may require you complete a quest, orsort out the relationship between two existing Dateables firstbefore you can put yourself into that dynamic. That said, just because two characters can be in a polyamorous relationship doesn’t mean tey have to be.
For example, Celia and Florence can enter into a polyamorous relationship with you, thoughyou can also just have them both love you separately. The most important thing to keep track of though is that if someone hates you, you cannot get them to enter into a polyamorous relationship with you. If you are Friends it can still be possible, but not so if they hate your guts.
Every Polyamorous Relationship
As it stands, there are only a handful of polyamorous relationships in the game, and no variations outside of them.Each character that has a polyamorous relationship only has one. Here is each of them, and how to achieve them.
