What Is Vortex Beater?

The Vortex Beaterautomatically fires homing missilesalongside standard ammo, with a66 percent chanceof not usingammoon each shot. Unlike standard firearms, it draws bullets directly from your inventory (no magazine), making it ammo hungry but highly effective.

It comes in five quality tiers, fromcommon to legendary, with attack power ranging from 300 to 450 and durability from 3000 to 6000. While its damage trails behind some other endgame weapons, its automatic missile burst andno reload featuremake it feel like a true powerhouse.

How To Get Vortex Beater Schematics

You can find the Vortex Beater schematics by exploring theSealed Realm of Terrariadungeon. To find it, make your way to the dungeon, located at coordinates(-421, -786)on a small island southeast of Fisherman’s Point, near the Eternal Pyre Tower in the Mount Obsidian region. The quickest path is to fast travel toFisherman’s Point, then use a flying or swimming Pal to reach the island. Once you arrive, be sure toactivate the fast travel pointnearby.

Legendary Vortex BeaterSchematics can also drop from the dungeon’s end chests.

There arenine lootable chestshidden throughout the Sealed Realm of Terraria. Most contain schematics for rare weapons and armor, but the final two chests can include some of thegame’s most powerful and unique weapon schematics, including theVortex Beater.

What You’ll Need

The Vortex Beater can be crafted at aWeapon Assembly Lineor better once you have the schematic. A Weapon Assembly line is unlocked at technology level 32, and you need 100 Ingots, 50 Wood, 20 Nails, and 10 High Quality Pal Oil to craft it. Once crafted, you can use these materials to craft Vortex Beater:

Hallowed Bars

Hallowed barsdrop inside the new Terraria dungeon. you may get them bydestroying clay pots, capturing and defeating Pals, destroying golden walls that block your way, and opening chests. Palworld dungeons haveno cooldown timer,so you can grind for materials as often as you need.

Pal Metal Ingots

To makePal Metal Ingotsin Palworld, you’ll first need to unlock and build anElectric Furnace, which becomes available at Level 44 in your Technology menu. It needs 50 Refined Ingots, ten Circuit Boards, 20 Polymer, and 20 Carbon Fiber to craft. Once it’s built, you can begin smelting.

To create the ingots, gather at leastfour Ore and two Paladium Fragmentsper ingot from across the map. Interact with your Electric Furnace to begin the smelting process and produce Pal Metal Ingots.

Electric Organs

Electric Organsare crafting materials that can drop from defeated electric Pals, or bought fromWandering Merchantsfor 200 coins each. While fighting alongside a Menasting, Menasting Terra, or Cryolinx Terra, electric Pals have ahigher chance to dropmore materials when defeated.

How To Craft Vortex Beater

Once you have a Weapon Assembly Line set up and powered with an electric Pal, choose aPal with a high Handiworktrait to craft your weapon. Open the Assembly Line UI, andchoose Vortex Beaternear the bottom of the page.

Use Pals with theTransporting trait to automatically move the finished weapon to a chest.

If you have all the prerequisite materials, press Start Production, and your Pals will get to work on creating your new endgame weapon.
