Dagath is the horsewoman of the apocalypse inWarframe. She serves as a Viral-centric DPS character who can obliterate foes with scythes, Kaithe stampedes, and strong critical weapon buffs. If you’re looking to create a powerful weapons platform or a strong caster, Dagath won’t disappoint.
Thankfully, she’s also an easy Warframe to craft and master. Once you level up your syndicates a few times and join a clan, you can get your hands on Dagath’s loaded kit and crush the Star Chart with little issue. Let’s go over how to get Dagath, explain how her abilities work, and showcase a strong build to help you conquer Steel Path and beyond.
How To Get Dagath
Dagath’s components are obtained from theDagath’s Hollow lab in your clan dojo.If you aren’t part of a clan, you’ll need to join one to gain access to this research lab. Dagath’s Hollow allows you to research and replicate all of Dagath’s components.
Unlike most Warframes, most of Dagath’s components requireVainthornto craft, a currency type that drops fromAbyssal Zone Extermination missions.You can gain access to these bypurchasing Abyssal Beacons from syndicate factions,requiring you to be at least R2. Each beacon costs 5,000 Standing and is consumed on use. Missions grant 6-8 Vainthorns, increased to 8-12 on Steel Path.
Passive
There is a 35% chance that Energy and Heatlh Orbs will be 300% more effective on Dagath.
There’s not much to explain here. Whenever Dagath collects an orb of any kind, she has a35% chance of quadrupling its effectiveness.This works with Universal Orbs as well, not just HP and Energy Orbs. If you have any Amber Archon Shards that scale orb effectiveness, Dagath’s passive stacksmultiplicativelywith those bonuses, making this an absurdly strong passive if you pair her with sources of guaranteed orb generation like Protea’s Dispensary.
Dagath’s passive doesnotbenefit Equilibrium.
Wyrd Scythes
Wyrd Scythes surround Dagath and seek out nearby enemies. Those struck are slowed and suffer Viral damage with guaranteed status. The scythes also spread Doom and extend its duration.

This ability may be applied to other Warframes throughthe Helminth system.
Dagath surrounds herself with 12 Viral-infused scythes that spin around her body for a second before launching forward, striking all targets in Dagath’s path.Each enemy struck receives a hefty amount of Viral damage and a moderate slow debuff, both of which can be scaled withAbility Strength. The slow from this ability cannot exceed 95%.
Wyrd Scythe serves asDagath’s main damage spammable. Inflict targets with your Doom debuff, then launch your scythes to spread the Doom affliction to nearby targets. Scythes always inflict Viral status whenever they strike a target, so this serves as a powerful status primer for your weapons and Rakhali’s Cavalry ultimate.
Doom
Condemn nearby enemies to their doom. A portion of the damage Dagath deals is revisited upon them by a Wyrd Scythe. They also suffer Viral damage.

Dagath unleashes a lethal hex on enemies in front of her, causing a Wyrd Scythe to appear above their head.All damage inflicted within the next two seconds will be dealt as a single instance of True damage, bypassing armor and resistances. This deals absurdly high damage if you have a strong weapon or use Dagath’s ultimate on the target.
The damage stored by Doom is per target; however, if you use Wyrd Scythe on a Doom-debuffed foe, Doom will spread to every target within 15 meters. you’re able to scale this spread range further with Ability Range mods. If you need even more damage from Doom, activate Grave Spirit to double the damage stored on the target.
Grave Spirit
Supercharge Dagath’s weapons with extra critical damage. The effects are doubled on Doomed enemies. Escape fatal blows by briefly assuming a spectral form.

Grave Spirit doubles as apotent critical damage buff and a cheat death passive. While active, Dagath’s weapons gain +50% modded critical damage against all targets, which is affected by your Ability Strength stat.If you are attacking a target debuffed with Doom, this bonus doubles.This buff is additive with any critical damage bonuses you’re receiving from weapon mods orArchon Shards.
Should Dagath receive a fatal blow,Grave Spirit will make you invulnerable for the next ten seconds. While in this state, you are immune to all incoming damage and spawn Health Orbs with each kill. Recovering from this state will enact a 25-second cooldown before you can recast Grave Spirit. You cannot reduce this cooldown through any means.
Rakhali’s Cavalry
Phantom Kaithes charge forth, inflicting Viral damage upon all in their path. Their attack strips the defenses of Doomed enemies.

Five phantom Kaithes are summoned around Dagath and charge forward, trampling anything caught in their path. Each horse deals 30,000 Viral damage and, against Doomed targets, strips 35% of the target’s defenses. You can scale both the damage and defense strip withAbility Strength. If you want the Kaithes to charge a greater distance, you can scale yourAbility Duration.
You are invulnerable while casting this ability. Consider using this as a panic button if you’re about to receive a lethal hit.
Rakhali’s Cavalry is your hard-hitting ultimate that’s meant to obliterate high-value targets in a single go. you’re able to opt to scale Ability Efficiency to spam this as a form of defense strip, although there are far stronger armor-stripping tools you can subsume in its place. This ability’s greatest strength is its absurd upfront damage. Scale some Strength, debuff the target with Doom, and you’ll be dealing millions of damage with virtually no effort.
Dagath Augments
Dagath currently has access to one augment mod, which you can find in thesyndicate offering shop for Perrin Sequence and Red Veil. Purchasing augments from either syndicate will require R5 status and 25,000 standing per mod. Alternatively, you may trade the mod with other players through Warframe’s trading system.
Spectral Spirit
Grave Spirit augment: Immediately assume spectral form. 100% chance for weapons and abilities to apply Doom. Kills outside of spectral form decrease its cooldown by 1s.
Spectral Spirit reworks your third ability into a DPS damage state you can enter for a short duration, causing all damage you inflict to spread Doom status. Since you immediately enter spectral form, you lose out on passive critical damage and the cheat death effect this ability normally offers. In turn, you’re able to enter spectral form significantly more often by slaying enemies outside of your immune state.
The cooldown reduction per kill cannot be modded for.
Since you always spawn Health Orbs on kill while in spectral form,consider pairing this augment with Equilibrium or Violet Archon Shardsto restore your energy reserves in a pinch. This also allows you to replace Doom with a damage subsume, making Dagath a powerful weapons platform. If you subsume an ability on Dagath, that skill must deal damage to inflict Doom with this augment.
Dagath Builds
We’ll be looking at a weapons platform build for Dagath today, utilizing her Spectral Spirit augment to make her a DPS monster with the right weapon. As with most Warframes, Dagath scales best withshield-gating mechanics, as you can spam most of her abilities at will to refresh your shields. Spectral Spirit will keep you invulnerable for lengthy periods, but shield-gating will ensure you stay alive during its downtime.

Archon Shards
Dagath greatly benefits fromOrb Effectiveness (Amber) and Equilibrium (Violet) shards.No builds we’ll be showing today use Archon Shards, but they can be used to free up space in Dagath’s main build.
This build is focused on turning Dagath into a weapons platform through the Spectral Spirit augment, granting access to her spirit form on demand to make you invincible for long periods. We can extend the duration of this form throughAbility Duration mods—Primed Continuity, Augur Message, and Constitution. If you own it, Molt Efficiency is also a great choice here.
You don’t need much Ability Strength to make Dagath’s abilities pack a punch in endgame content.Blind RagewithMolt Augmentedis enough for most content, allowing you to inflict some absurd damage with Doom. If you want to make your guns even stronger, you can opt to run Mirage’s Eclipse or Rhino’s Roar in place of her second or fourth ability.
For survivability, you’ll be invincible most of the time through the augment. But when that inevitably ends, you’ll want toshield-gateincoming damage.Catalyzing Shieldswill give you a second of immunity frames when your shields break from full. We can easily max our shield capacity withBrief Respiteand Blind Rage’s efficiency penalty.
To fix our poor energy economy, we simply runEquilibriumandPrimed Flow. While none of our abilities directly state they spawn orbs, our spectral spirit form has a hidden property that forces targets to drop HP Orbs on death. Paired with Equilibrium you will never run out of energy on Dagath.
