There isn’t really a hard counter for Ultron or any flying character in general when it comes to Vanguard, aswe do not have any flying vanguards yet, which causes a problem.
However, your main concern here is toblock Ultron’s visionand protect your squishy characters, so characters with a type of shield usually work well to counterat least the damage they deal or block their view.
In case you did not know, you cannot destroy Ultron’s drone that heals his allies, so you can do nothing about the healing except defeating him.
Emma Frost, for example, cansend out her shield and block all his attacks, meaning he will have to reposition. However, if you pickDoctor Strange, this will be helpful just toblock his attacks.
How To Counter Ultron As A Duelist
As with all other flying characters,any hitscan is a great counter to Ultron, butthe player needs to have decent aim to hit him. With only 250 health, you’re able to easily kill him injust a few shots.

AdamandLuna Snowcan be amazing counters to Ultron as not only are they both hitscan characters who deal decent damage, butLuna can freeze Ultronand land easy headshots to get the job done, whileAdam can use both his Cosmic Cluster and Quantum Magic attacks to hit him.
The problem with other strategists is either that they don’t have quite the damage to do so, or their abilities don’t reach Ultron. For example, it will be really hard for Mantis to counter him since her sleep is not like Luna Snow’s snowball and her attacks are projectile,which can be tough to land on him.
Rocket doesn’t have great damage to do anything to him, and Invisible Woman’s primary attack range might not always reach him, althoughshe can use her Force Physics ability to pull him downand then your teammates can deal with him quickly.
