During your time playingTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you will learn that your primary quest is to find the pieces of King Arthur’s soul and memories, lost to time and spread across all three main regions of Avalon. This is your primary task in the game, and with each region, it will have one piece that will prove to be a challenge to obtain.
The third and final piece that you need is the helmet, and naturally it should be the most challenging to get. This is because when you reach Forlorn Swords and learn about the piece’s location, your task will be to convince the different tribes of this region to help you join the Moot, and one of the tribes is Theud.
How To Start The Sleep That Never Comes Quest
After you progress far into the story andreach the third region known as Forlorn Swords, make your waysouthwest of the mapand you will reachthe entrance of Theud Village.
However, as soon as you try to go in,you will be stopped by Skuld, who will ask you some questions, and then afterward he’ll ask you to seek audience with the Elder of the village known as Yngvi.
Yngvi can be found at her house just up ahead, so make your way and go inside the house. You will find a woman sitting on a chair; this is Yngvi,so speak to her to learn about her.
How To Convince Yngvi To Join The Moot
As the main part of the quest,you need to convince her to be available for when the Moot will happen, however at first she will disagree and you will have to do some convincing to her.
You can do that byagreeing to help her tribeand enter Mother’s Dream in order to speak to her directly and hopefully this will convince Yngvi.
After you’re done with the conversation with her,get outside of the house and to your left, there will be a stone portal that will transport you to the Dreaming Realm.
In this Dreaming Realm, you will be greeted by Skuld once again andhe will explain to you what needs to be done in order to help with the burdens Theud Villagehas been suffering from.
Now four markers on four different people will show up and you need to complete their relevant quest:
After you complete all four questsand talk to their corresponding quest giver, you now need tomake your way to Skuld who waits for you at the entrance of the Mother’s Chambertoward the south of the Dreaming.
Go there and speak to him so you will gain access inside, and during the conversation with the Mother,you need to pick certain dialogue options in order to convince them to allow Yngvi to leave.

If you’ve done this correctly, the Mother will allow Yngvi to join the Moot so you need to go back to her and inform her about it.
Go to her house and tell her the Mother released her from her duties and she can join the Moot. After the conversation is done with Yngvi,you have successfully convinced the Theud tribe to join the Mootand theSleep That Never Comes quest is complete.
