Waves of Wallsis a Challenge Course you’ll encounter onFeast Layer, the fourteenth layer ofDonkey Kong Bananza. It’s one that requires thesnake powerupto complete, but it’s impossible to reach this layer without it, so that won’t be an issue. You’ll need to spring past moving obstacles to reach your goal here.

It’s also worth levelling up theBetter GlareandBetter Charge Jumpskill in the snake tree, but this is possible to complete without it. As ever, things aren’t as straightforward as all that either, as there’sa hidden Bananadium Gemlurking just out of sight as well. Thankfully, we know just where it is.

How To Complete Waves of Walls

For the first stage of Waves of Walls, you don’t need to do anything special. Thewalls are made of sand, so caneasily be punched through. Justavoid the electric floorsandkeep moving forward, punching through the obstacles as they arrive. Once you reach the end of this section, you’ll get the first Bananadium Gem.

The second stage however is much tricker. While the wallscanbepunched through, thistakes far too longand will send you back to the start, or may even push you off the edge completely.

Jump out of the trenchwhen there’s the wall withthe gap on the left.Gothrough the gapandjump over the low wallbeforehiding in the pink pit. Wait in the pit thenjump up before the low wall, clear it, thenrush to the rightto find the gap of the tall wall. you’re able to nowhide in the second pink pit.

In here,waituntil the wall with thegap on the leftapproaches, then useGlare to slow down time. Make your wayto the pit on the leftby ducking into the gap and clearing the low wall. In here,wait for the left gapagain andrush out into the trench.

From here,waituntiljust before the low wall, then rush out andclear it while sticking to the right. You willhit the electric floor, but thedamage is minor. Slip past the wall with thegap on the right, and dive into the pit. From here, do it again -wait for the low wall, clear it,hide in the gap on the right.

This puts you in a long pit inches from the finish line. Wait until there is a gap in the wall then jump out,rush through the gap, and you’ve reached the end, where you’ll find the second Bananadium Gem. But what about the last one?

How To Get The Last Bananadium Gem In Waves of Walls

At the very end of the level, you will reach agrate where the blockades riseout of the floor.Stand on thisgrate before one of thetall blockadespops out, thencharge jump when it reaches the top. This will see you grab onto thewire mesh on the ceiling.
