While living your daily life as a proxy inZenless Zone Zero, there are numerous different activities for you to partake in to make ends meet each day. Many of these activities are permanent, but the ones with the best rewards tend to be limited-time events, including the event Springtime Snapshots.

This event is relatively simple in its premise: take cinematic pictures of characters from this game’s colorful cast. But if you want to get the most out of this event in terms of rewards, you’ll need to be very particular about how you frame these photos. This guide will detail how to complete each part of the Springtime Snapshots event.

The event will run from Jun 10, 2025 to June 23, 2025.

Part 1 - Billy & Lighter

To begin this event, head over to Bardic Needle over on Sixth Street to see Connie standing on the side of the road. She’ll be your main quest-giver for this event, which will involve her pairing up several characters for you to take pictures of as if you were a film director.

The first picture you’ll be tasked with taking is of Billy Kid and Lighter staring each other down. Thankfully, the event makes this task simple and simply teleports you and these characters to exactly where you need to be for this shot.

Each photo will also have a unique task to go alongside it, which, for this first photo, involves you using the Nostalgic filter when you capture the shot. As long as both characters are included in the shot, and it has the correct filter, you’ll get full marks for this first photo.

The second picture you’ll be capturing for part one of this event is of Billy Kid and Lighter going out for drinks, seemingly getting over whatever feud they had in the previous shot.

For this shot, your unique task is toensure that the signboard that says “Drinks” in big, bold letters is included in the shot, alongside both characters. Once you’ve got your angle right, snap the photo and you’ll be finished with the first part of this event.

Part 2 - Vivian & Ellen

Once you’ve completed part one of this event, you can begin part two immediately from the menu. These shots feature two new characters for you to photograph:Vivian and Ellen Joe.

For the first photo of this scenario, Vivian and Ellen Joe will bestanding on the stairs of the Metro Stationwhile staring at each other. The unique task for this one can be a little tricky, since you need toinclude the metro sign in the shot as well, which is high above where both characters are standing. Once you’re able to get the sign as well as both characters in the shot, take the picture and move on to the next scene.

For the second photo of this part of the event, Ellen Joe and Vivian will be standing next to each other by the ocean, clearly posing for your photograph. The unique task for this scene is much simpler than the last, being that you only have touse the “Vibrant” filter when you capture both girls in frame. Once you’ve got the angle just how you want it, snap the photo and move on to part three.

Part 3 - Jane Doe

Unlike the other four parts of this event, part three of the Springtime Snapshots event only focuses on a single character: Jane Doe, putting her in a Noire-esque scenario in dark alleys late at night. You can begin this part of the event as long as you’vecompleted both parts one and two.

For the first photo of this part of the event, you’ll be teleported into a dark alleyway withJane Doe. Since she’s the only character subject for this part, photographing her will be quite simple.

The only unique task you need to fulfill for full credit on this shot is tobe sure to include the graffiti drawing of a black cat that you can see on the wall behind Jane. Once both Jane and the cat are in your frame, take the photo and move on to the next.

The second photo of this scenario involves Jane standing on a staircase leading out into the big city. Photographing her isn’t difficult, but the unique task for this shot can be a bit tricky:it needs to be late at night during this shot. If you’re playing normally, then this shouldn’t be a problem. Simply change the time to late night and take the photo.

If you’re doing this event while in the middle of a story quest, you’ll be unable to change the time as you see fit, so be sure to finish any story-related quests you may have active before taking this photo.

Part 4 - Astra & Evelyn

The penultimate photo shoot for the Springtime Snapshots event includes two new characters:Astra Yao and Evelyn. These two seem to be posing for what looks like a movie star public versus private life scenario. You can begin this partonce you’ve completed the previous three.

The first photo for this part takes you, Astra Yao, and Evelyn into a movie theater, where Astra Yao is being swarmed by fans while Evelyn stares at her from afar. The unique task for this shot is to be sure toinclude both Astra Yao and Evelyn in the shot.

This can be a bit tricky given how many NPCs are already in the shot and how far away Evelyn is from the group. We found that the best way to go about getting this shot just right was tostand closer to Evelyn and take an over-the-shoulder shot to capture both girls, fulfilling the task for this scenario.

The second shot of this part takes you back up to Sixth Street, just across from the W-Engine shop. Astra Yao and Evelyn will be standing just outside the 404 entrance, and thankfully, much closer together this time.

All you need to do for full marks on this photo shoot is toinclude both characters and the large neon sign for 404 Live in the shot, which shouldn’t be too hard. Snap this picture, and you’ll only have one more part left.

Part 5 - Miyabi & Yanagi

The final part of the Springtime Snapshots event featuresHoshimi Miyabi and Tsukishiro Yanagifacing each other down before focusing on the much larger hollow threat in the distance. Given that this is the final part of the event, you can only access it after completing the previous four parts of the event.

The first shot of this final part of the event has Miyabi and Yanagi staring each other down at a long distance between them, as if they’re about to have an intense showdown.

To get full marks for this second-to-last photo, make sure toinclude both Miyabi and Yanagi in the frame and apply the “Retro” filter. Once you snap this photo, there’s only one picture left before your filming work is complete.

The final photo of both this part of the event and the event as a whole has Miyabi and Yanagi standing at the edge of a pier, staring into a massive hollow in the distance. For this final shot, you need toinclude both ladies in the picture andapply the “Classic” filter when taking the photo. Once you’ve done that and submitted your photo, you will have completed the Springtime Snapshots event in its entirety.
