Following along with the Fighters Guild questline leads you to a contract at the service of one Biene Amelion, living in Water’s Edge north of Leyawin. Her family has gone into considerable debt and she’s needing the assistance of a mercenary to find something of value in her ancestral tomb.

Between the two possible branches you can follow, this quest has the possibility of either being one of the shortest in the game or leading you to a unique piece of armor.

How To Start Amelion’s Debt

To begin the quest, you’ll need to be given the assignment by Burz gro-Khash in the Fighters Guild hall in Cheydinhal. He doesn’t offer much information other than that a woman namedBiene Amelion needs your help clearing a debtand where to find her. She’s located at Water’s Edge, a small homestead located along the lower Niben.

Once you meet with Biene she’ll explain her family’s plight and the sizable debt they’ve fallen into: 1,000 septims to be precise. Her request is for you to travel to her family’s ancestral tomb andretrieve a set of armorthat she will then sell to clear the debt.

It’s possible to skip the journey into the Amelion ancestral tomb entirely. If you have enough gold, you can pay off Biene’s debtand satisfy the requirements for the contract without setting foot inside the tomb. If you go this route, the armor will still be available should you choose to keep it for yourself after the contract is closed.

How To Find Brusef Amelion’s Armor

The armor can be found in the crypts of Amelion Tomb located immediately outside of Leyawin, as directed by Biene. Exploring the tomb will put you against several undead, soequip yourself with scrolls of turn undeadas well as silver or enchanted weaponry as necessary.

The tomb itself is small, but densely populated with skeletons and other undead foes. Searching the various chests and coffins around the area will yield valuable loot and possibly some more unique items.

Only the cuirass and the sword are required to complete the quest if you plan to give the armor up. However, other pieces of Brusef Amelion’s Armor can be foundscattered through the first level of the cave. If you plan to keep the full armor set, be sure to collect all the pieces.

Once you reach the Sarcophagus Chamber, the cuirass and sword can be found on top of a coffin located in the center of the main room. A level appropriate undead boss will also spawn in this room so be cautious. If you’re nimble enough, it’s possible to swipe the cuirass and the sword before the boss even realizes you’re there.

Whether you face the boss head-on or in some other indirect way, once you’ve gotten the cuirass and the sword, it’s time to return to Amelion.

How To Complete Amelion’s Debt

Once you return to Water’s Edge, you will have one final opportunity to decide whether you will keep Biene’s family armor or if you will pay off her debt. The armor is aesthetically unique, so it may be a worthy price for the completionist armor collectors out there. If you choose to give up the armor, she will thank you, and the armor will be removed from your inventory. Same goes for if you decide to pay off the debt instead, but the gold is removed instead of the armor.

After meeting with Biene for the last time, you’ll turn the contract in to Burz gro-Khash in Cheydinhal. He’ll congratulate you on a job well done, regardless of your approach, and pay you for your service. This concludes a short but creative quest with multiple routes for completion.
