In the run-up toElden Ring Nightreign’s launch,FromSoftware gave us a good look at some of the costumeswe’ll be able to dress our Nightfarers up in, including the attire of returning fan favourite Dark Souls characters like Solaire and Leonhard.
However, you need to unlock the mirror before you can change your costume. Don’t worry, though, it’s not an overly complicated NPC questline or anything. It’s a little time-consuming, but there’s only one requirement.
How To Change Appearance
You’ll immediately unlock the mirror that allows you to change your appearance after you’vebeaten two different Nightlords. It’s that simple.
Afterwards, you can find the mirror in the Roundtable Hold, and it’s even marked on the map, soyou can fast travel to it.
The mirror is labelled ‘Change Garb’ on the left-hand list.
How To Unlock Costumes
You can’t equip new costumes as soon as you unlock the mirror, though. You need to buy them with Murk(the same currency that the Small Jar Bazaar uses).
You can get more Murk by selling Relics at the altar.
To start with, each character has two additional costumes— Dawn (14,000 Murk) and Darkness (35,000 Murk). But you can unlock more by completing quests.
How To Complete Remembrance
Every single Nightfarer has their own personal quest called a ‘Remembrance’. We’re not entirely sure how to unlock the Memory Fragments that trigger these, but beating a Nightlord seems a surefire way to open up new pages in the journal.
When you’ve finished their story, you’ll unlock a new outfit. These areavailable for free at the mirrorand are based on their quest.
How To Unlock The Dark Souls Outfits
Unlocking the Dark Souls skins is a bit simpler, although that doesn’t mean it’s any easier. You need tobeat at least four Nightlords to unlock the final boss.
Once you’veconquered the last expedition and ‘beaten’ Heolstorand thus the game, every Nightfarer will get two new Dark Souls skins at the mirror.
You dohave to buy these, but they’re a lot cheaper than the standard skins. You can pick them all up for7,500 Murk each.
