You’ve dealt an awful lot with the undead so far in Episode Five ofRaidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, with the dark iteration of the center of government positively littered in zombie soldiers. Once you have them help you reassemble the missing document, though, a more powerful zombie is heading your way.
Nebiros serves as the miniboss battle in Episode Five of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, and its imperviousness to physical damage makes this one heck of a tough battle. Bring the right demons with good magic skills and fight through the horde!

Where To Find Nebiros
Nebiros is the minibossin Episode Fiveof Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Before you can get there, though, you’ll need to do the preemptive story segments in Kasumidai and Dark Kasumidai. This involves helping Tae track down a mole in the military in Kasumidai, then finding all eight of the missing pages from the document in the Dark Realm iteration of this government center for the Capital in Taisho 20.
After gathering all eight of the pages from Sadakichi’s missing document, you’ll want to go back to the central location at the entrance to Dark Kasumidai to turn them back in to complete the evidence pages once again. Before you two get very far into a cutscene, though, Nebiros interrupts to attack, so it’s best tocheck the Dragon’s Fount before speaking to Sadakichiabout the pages. If you need to save your game or ask Victor for some new demons downin the Goumaden, now’s the time!

For where you are right now in the game, Nebiros can be a pretty tough enemy - it’slevel 37when it charges at Raidou - and this is far from the first time you’ll run into one as you keep pressing on in the main story of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. With so few affinties to take note of, you’ll want to do eveything you’re able to to exploit itsweakness to wind magic.
Whether this is with demons of the Wind Order that know powerful Zan moves (left to their own devices in the battle or under your direct command from the game’s menu), or by using Wind Sigil on Raidou’s Summoner Skills set-up, you’ll want to do everything you can to throw wind magic Nebiros' way for this Episode Nine miniboss fight.
In general, though,Nebiros doesn’t take much damage from phsyical moves, so your Force and Gun attacks are pretty much off the table for this battle. Even if it’s not wind specifically, you’ll need to havedemons with high Magic statson hand to lob powerful spells at Nebiros. By now, you’ve got all of Raidou’s elemenal Sword Skills, too, so make use of any you feel best with using!
That said, Nebiros will be summoningplentyof assistance in this miniboss battle in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Because of this annoying skill, you’ll likely want touse multi-target elemental magicin this fight. Anything with Ma- at the front of the name, or one of the elemental skills with a special name outside the usual Agi, Bufu, Zan, and Zio families are a good bet. Just be sure to keep an eye on your MAG gauge, using Raidou’s skills or items to replenish as needed.
How To Defeat Nebiros
While the cutscene after reuniting with Sadakichi back near the entrance of Dark Kasumidai features only Nebiros, you’ll enter the fight to see it’s alsocommanding a few undead soldierslike the ones you’ve been fending off as you explored the Dark Realm version of the Capital in search of the missing pages. This is going to be a trend in this fight, so you’ll want touse multi-target attacksas your main offensive strategy here.
The army of the undead are less prickly about physical damage, so if you manage to charge up and use yourDevil’s Baneat any point during the Nebiros miniboss battle in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you’re able to dispatch the current horde of the undead fairly easily.
As mentioned, though,limit the use of physical skills when attacking Nebiros, since it takes vastly less damage from moves than it does from skills.
One of the biggest challenges in this battle is keeping up with your MAG depletion, especially if you’ve got demons on the field who know some of the powerful iterations of elemental damage spells or the three-directional versions. They’ll be using them heavily during the battle, so if you’ve unlocked the Magnetize skill via Sword Alchemy, this is an excellent battle to have it equipped.
Offensively, other than summoning some demons from the undead, Nebiros also usesdeath magic skillsduring this battle. If you’ve not yet gained access toMudoyourself, this is a death magic move thathalves your HPif you’re struck in the area of effect. While you could use Skill Order demons to heal up, your best bet is trying tododge this attackwhenever possible, putting distance between Raidou and Nebiros when need be.
The good news is that you don’t have to dispatch all the undead zombie soldiers - once you finish Nebiros off and deplete its HP, this Episode Five miniboss battle ends, and Sadakichi gives you information on where to go next to save Kaya Daidouji.
