InDate Everything, the title gives it all away. You can date everything. Just about everything, anyway. Not just objects, but certain concepts, too. If you ever wanted to come face-to-face with Existential Dread, then this is the game for you. For the most part though, it will be literal objects you are interacting with, even flirting with.

One of those objects is your toilet. Unhygienic as it sounds, Jean Loo Pissoir is a rather potty-mouthed individual, one who isn’t ashamed to say what’s on his mind. Which he does in the form of rap. Or well, what he considers rap, anyway. Here’s everything you need to know about him, and how to beat him at his own game.

A shower with a reflection on it in date everything.

Where To Find Jean Loo

Alongside the vast majority of the Dateables in the game, Jean Loo can be found as soon as you get the freedom to explore in the game. There are two bathrooms in the game, and therefore there are two locations in which you’re able to find Jean Loo. To awaken him, just interact with the toilet or any of its related pieces. These include toilet paper, plungers, and so on.

After awakening, Jean Loo will be, for some reason, French. And alongside this, he also loves to wrap. A fascinating combination for a toilet. But he doesn’t partake in any old rap. He takes part in crap, which is actually just a much cooler version of rap than regular old rap. How, exactly, this is a cooler version of rap he does not elaborate.

‘Crap’ is a term that actually means ‘Cool Rap’, just so you’re aware.

After your first meeting with Jean Loo, he decides that you must be thought the way of crapping, whichwe are simply going to refer to as rappingfrom here on out. And for you, you’re going to need to visit him quite a few more times.

Beating Each Of Jean Loo’s Rap Battles

After your first meeting with Jean Loo, he decided toteach you the basics of rapping, which comes in the form of rap battles. Initially, these will just be a means of teaching you and honing your own talents, but the very final encounter will be a bona fide rap battle. So make sure you’re prepped, and pay attention to his lessons along the way.

Even though each rap battle gives you the option to immediately follow into the next,Jean Loo will decide you are not prepared regardless of what you say.

Getting a love ending with Jean Loo in date everything.

Rap Battle #1

In Jean Loo’s first rap battle, he will introduce the ballcock. This is a device that allows you to speak back when choosing your options during the rap battles. It wouldn’t be much of a rap battle without the cadence, metre, and tone now, would it? As such, your character gets to actually verbally speakduring these encounters. So don’t embarrass yourself.

The voice is preset, regardless of the identity of your character. It willalways be hilariously deep.

This first lesson willencompass five sections, with the focus on finding the word that both rhymes and makes logical sense. Here is what you should choose at each section:

In the final option, both Smack and Whack make logical sense, butWhack is the appropriate choice to avoid too much sound repetitionfrom the previous Sack and Shack. With this first lesson out of the way, Jean Loo invites you to your next one. Which, regardless of the option, decides you need a break for. So come back to him again tomorrow.

Rap Battle #2

This next lesson is all about knowinghow to emphasise words and keeping with syllable counts. There is a science to the art, and this lesson will test just how capable your are of keeping up with this style. This lesson is definitely harder than the previous one, though has only four sections we have to answer.

Following Jean Loo’s actual emphasison words is very helpful here, so make sure to listen carefully as he is rapping.

The answers, in chronological order, are as follows:

These all follow a similar syllable count, especially as you go further along. It is important to match the context of the previous line by Jean Loo, and tomake sure the emphasis falls on the same lines. In this regard, it can be helpful to recite his final line in each section and follow its flow into each option to see which flows best.

Pleased with your answers, and the potentially politically violent undertones of it, Jean Loo states that he has no more lessons for you.Next is the rap battle itself, and that you will need everything you have to beat him, or even stand a chance to measure up to him. Like always he offers to go immediately, but asks you to prepare instead.

Rap Battle #3

The final conversation with Jean Loo, the rap battle is the hardest conversation of all, but also works differently. There is no singular correct option, but all the answers that advance you closer to victory will have very high SPECS requirements. In his defence, Jean Loo warns you of this. To be extra safe though, you should try get every SPECS stat to about 80to verify you have access to every option.

Jean Loo does allow you to make one mistake, though it’s best to avoid that if you want his love ending and collectables.

The core premise here is to beat back against Jean Loo’s lines with retaliatory ones of your own, while still keeping with the overall flow and theming. This is a bit less complex than it sounds though. For the most part, most high-requirement options will work, though you should still take the content into account.

As you go, you don’t want to drop the level you go at. For example,if you choose an option that takes 60 SPECS points, no future option you choose should go lowerthan this, as Jean Loo will take the battle more seriously with the higher options you take. Ramp yourself up slowly, but never take options that are too low, either.

The final blow will come in his mentioning Tepees, which he claims as a pan-Native American dwelling. Pointing out his historical inaccuracies while also following his rhythm will secure your victory. There’s no better way of winning than being both historically accurate and having better rhyhm.

With this, Jean Loo will concede. The student has become the master. If you got through without a single mistake, you’ll get another collectableto mark this victory.

How To Change Your Relationship Status With Jean Loo

Like other Dateables,Jean Loo has three different endings, though they come about more as a culmination of his rap battles rather than how you’ve singularly acted towards him. Keep this in mind when trying to earn his affection.

Love

To get Jean Loo to love you, you have to be able to rap with the best of them. Or with Jean Loo, at least. You must besuccessful in each of his lessons and the final battle itself, and have chosen flirtatious options along the way. You don’t need to have been perfect, but you do need to have done pretty damn well.

Keep in mind that while you should flirt with him, this shouldn’t come at the expense of rapping.Choose the options in dialogue that win the rap battle, not his heart. Any other flirting is fair game.

Friends

To be friends with Jean Loo is much the same as being his lover, with you able to choose to be his friend instead if you meet the requirements for a love ending. Otherwise, your relationship will be determined by your success in the rap battles. If you did alright, tried your best, but weren’t quite up to Jean Loo’s standard, he will still respect your attempt, and view you as a fellow practitioner of cool rapping.

Hate

To get Jean Loo to hate you is more than just choosing mean options. He may be made of porcelain, but he is far from fragile. No, you have to be malicious.Fail every rap battle, choose the wrong options and make fun of his lifestyle. There’s no better way to make him hate you that hating on his favourite activity.
