Sukuna-Hikona Location And Affinities

Sukuna-Hikona is the boss at the end of Episode Ten in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, The Capital on Fire! In it, you’ll have infiltrated the other side of theSubterranean Shipyardfrom which you rescued Kaya Daidoujiback in Episode Five.

The chapter takes you through a puzzle to enter the Shipyard from the far left side, which was inaccessible during Episode Five even after defeating the boss fight again Abihiko and Nagasunehiko, Munakata’s security goons. In it, you’ll need to reach the bottom of the Shipyard from the left side, employing the help of some disgruntled Ippon-Datara as you go.

Which Demons Should You Use To Fight Sukuna-Hikona?

The good news, in terms of Sukuna-Hikona’s affinities in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, is thatSukuna-Hikona is weak to fire, ice, and electric magic, and he’ll also takemore damage from Force moveswith the orange strike icon in your combat menu. The bad news is, you’re in for one hell of a fight against him.

One of the trickiest parts of the fight against Sukuna-Hikona in the Shipyard in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is thatyour demons will likely be somewhat inaccessibleduring this battle, with Sukuna-Hikona capable ofsealing your demonsuntil the end of the battle. Any sealed demonscannot be summoned into battle.

As such, you’ll want to be sure tobring a wide spread of powerful demons capable of exploiting Sukuna-Hikona’s elemental weaknesses. If you’ve got any high-level Fury Order demons who could use some time to shine, demons withhigh Strength stats and good Force moveswill deal colossal damage to the boss.

When choosing demons, though, be mindful thatSukuna-Hikona uses electric and ice magichimself in this battle, so just mind your own demons' affinities when choosing who to summon into the tubes for this boss fight. Hopefully you’ve got the Passive Skills that permit you to fuse demons that can negate their own weaknesses to these elements and keep laying the hurt on the boss.

While in the Goumaden doing your demon fusions ahead of the Sukuna-Hikona battle in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you may want to pop upstairs to Kounno-ya to stock up on healing items if you haven’t been collecting them from your demons - the need to heal Raidou and the demons in this battle is all but inevitable, and Dia skills may not cut it.

How To Defeat Sukuna-Hikona

When the battle with Sukuna-Hikona first begins, you’ll want tosummon your most powerful demons that can exploit the boss' weaknesses. If you haven’t alreadyconfigured Raidou’s Summoner Skillsbefore the battle to take advantage of your best Force moves (or Magnetize to replenish MAG in the battle) to keep your demons going, now’s the time.

This boss battle has a pretty sharp skill spike from the last few you’ve been facing, so hopefully, you’ve done a bit of grinding over in the Training Hall between your major story beats!

Watch For Anakashiko

One of the most dangerous moves in Sukuna-Hikona’s repertoire is without a doubtAnakashiko, which he’ll pantomime using for the first time by pausing the battle to taunt you. This powerful punch will require you to be able to dodge different combat directional attacks, since Sukuna-Hikona is able to hit you from practically wherever he is on the field.

Anakashiko, though, is aheavy almighty attack that travels in a straight linefrom Sukuna-Hikona himself. With almighty damage being all but impossible to guard against offensively, even if you’re dodging, your best bet is to simply watch for this attack and move out of the way when it’s coming at you.

The heavy almighty damage isn’t even the biggest concern you should have with Anakashiko, though, sinceany demon hit by Anakashiko is banishedfrom the battlefield, which means it’s forcibly sent back to its tube and becomesunable to summon for the remainder of the battle.

This is a double whammy, too, since even if the demon survives the heavy impact from the almighty damage, they’ll still be inaccessible for the rest of the battle. It’s a tricky combination to pull off, but if you cancall your demons back to Raidou when Anakashiko is coming, you can avoid the blow for the three of you by dodgding it yourself.

Since Raidou can’t really be banished from battle, he’ll have a different impact if stricken by Anakashiko:you may’t control Raidou for a few seconds. He won’t respond to your movement inputs, all attacks are inaccessible, and you can’t open your inventory to heal yourself or your demons during this time, either.

It’s only a few seconds for Raidou, but with so much happening on the field and a powerful boss battle here with Sukuna-Hikona in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, this opens you entirely to attacks not only from Sukuna-Hikona himself, but from his other biggest threat: theadditional Hirukohe can summon to the field.

Sukuna-Hikona Will Summon Other Hiruko Into Battle

As if it weren’t enough to try to keep your demons on the field without taking massive almighty damage from Anakashiko during the Sukuna-Hikona boss fight in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, you’ll also need to worry about the horde of additional Hiruko on the field.

These Hiruko are directly aggressive toward Raidou more than the demons, and one of the biggest frustrations during this move is the need tokeep track of where Sukuna-Hikona is at all times, since its litany of powerful almighty magic will need consistant monitoring to avoid.

During this stage, it may be best to let your demons deal with the Hiruko as best they can while you focus your attention on Sukuna-Hikona. Keep watch forMegidoas well, though, since Sukuna-Hikona can use this to deal area of effect almighty damage to prevent you from getting too close.
