In the world of Dune, the Landsraad is a governing body that represents all of the Great Houses in the Imperium. InDune: Awakening, the Landsraad allows players to influence the politics of the Imperium and take on quests that can help benefit them and their guild. However, this system can only be accessed after completing a certain quest line and takes some finesse to understand.

How To Unlock The Landsraad

Before you can participate in the Landsraad, you’ll need to have firstjoined a faction. In Dune: Awakening,there are two factionsyou can join:

To join either of these factions, you’ll need tocomplete a series of quests and contractsfor one of the houses and pledge your loyalty.

Once you’ve done this,you’ll unlock access to the Landsraad.

Before working to unlock the Landsraad,ensure you’re in striking distance of the Deep Desert, the game’s PvP area.

Most of the contractsand quests you might undertake with the Landsraadare in the Deep Desert, so you’ll want to make sure you have access to this area first.

Where To Find Faction Quests

To begin either the Atreides or Harkonnen faction quest,travel to the Anvil, a tradepost in the Eastern Vermillius Gap. Hereyou’ll spot two NPCs, each of which represents either House Atreides or House Harkonnen.

Simplytalk to either representativeto start the faction quest. From there, once you complete a series of contracts for either representative,you can pledge your loyalty to one faction, thus granting you access to the Landsraad.

You can complete contracts for either faction, but at a certain point,you’ll have to swear your fealty to one houseand one house only.

How To Use The Landsraad

Once you’ve joined either House Harkonnen or House Atreides, simplytoggle to the Social Tab in your UIand thenthe Landsraad Sub-Tabto take a look at the Landsraad Board.

This board has 25 different quests/contractsthat faction-aligned guilds can undertake, each of which is represented by a lower house insignia. Most of these quests involve delivering resources to a House and Faction Representative.

As you’ll see based on the quest materials required,most of these cannot be completed alone.Success in the Landsraad isbest achieved by joining a guild or creating your own, which we’ll go into below.

When either house and its aligned guilds complete a quest, they claim that the lower house. From there,players who helped contributeto the contractcan claim various tiered rewards.

You can view some unlocked quests in your server; however, to discover other quests,you’ll need to find House Representativeswho are scattered all over the map of Arrakis.

Many of thesewill require a base offering of spicebefore you’re allowed to partake.

Furthermore,the winning faction subsequently earns voting power, which we’ll go into below.

How To Create Or Join A Guild

Before you can fully participate in the Landsraad,you’ll either have to join or create a guild. You can do thisfrom the Guilds Sub-Tabunder the main Social Tab.

you may either join a guild via a guild invitation if someone has sent one to you, or you canpay 1,000 Solari to create your own guild.

If you create your own guild,you must align with either House Harkonnen or House Atreides,depending on which quest line you completed.

If you have members of your guild who are aligned with the opposing Great House,they will be expelledfrom your guild when you choose a faction alignment.

How To Complete Quests

Once aligned, simplyvisit House Representatives to unlock various questson the board. From there, you’ll likely have todo one of the followingto help complete the quest:

If you’re collecting materials,you’ll need to turn in these resources to your faction representativeat either the Atreides Fortress or the Harkonnen Fortress.

First,unlock the quest by seeking out a House Representative. Then, you can contribute materials, kills, or control points alongside your guild.

Once the quest is complete, you can thenrevisit the House Representative to collect your reward, which scales based on your individual contribution.

How To Vote And Use Decrees

After Landsraad quests are claimed by various guilds and factions,the respective faction will gain voting power, granted to the leaders of the top-contributing guilds.

Guild leaders can then vote on server-wide decrees that grant benefitsto all members of their faction. These can include things likecrafting bonuses, damage buffs, and more.

The Landsraad resets every weekalongside the Coriolis Storm, so even if your faction doesn’t win, you’ll have another chance the following week.
