The main characters inClair Obscur: Expedition 33share a great bond regardless of what you do throughout the game. However, you can improve your relationship with most of them, as there is an in-game relationship level that indicates the bond you share with individual companions.
It isn’t a part of the game right from the start, and when it is introduced, the game doesn’t give you a deep tutorial to explain the new mechanic. When Are Relationship Levels Introduced?
You don’t have to concern yourself with relationship levels untilyou reach Act Two.
This is because these levels refer toVerso’s relationship with the other characters, and he doesn’t join the crew until the end of Act One.
How Do You Raise Relationship Levels?
The process of improving your relationship levels with other characters is actually quite simple. All you need to do istalk to them while at camp.
When you go up and interact with them, you get a few lines of dialogue, and then, sometimes, the game asks if you want tospend some time with them. Hit’yes’and thenplay out the scene to boost your relationship.
To gain level six in the relationship, you mustcomplete a short quest for them, which is the only way to improve your level outside of talking.
Sometimes, you’re able to trigger two scenes with one character in one visit to the camp. So, after the first scene, go to speak with them again to see if another scene is ready.
What Are The Rewards For Raising Your Relationship Levels?
Spending time alone with your companions lets you get to know them better, but that isn’t the only reason to strengthen your relationship with them.
