There are tons of systems to master if you’re looking to be a top Devil Summoner when you play throughRaidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, but one of them you’ll need to learn to use to your advantage early on are the Investigation Skills - you can’t get far without them.
Your devils have plenty of different Investigation Skills that you’ll use throughout Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army to achieve things like reignite spirits to get answers, read minds, reach new areas Raidou can’t get to himself, obtain free loot, and so much more.
Every Devil Has An Investigation Skill, Largely Based On Order
You’ll obtain your very first devils inRaidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Armyalmost immediately when you launch the game, but as you progress through the game as Raidou, you’ll need torely on devils for help during investigationsby utilizing their individual Investigation Skills.
Investigation Skills are different from Passive Skills in that they arespecifically for use in helping you progress the story. Sure, it’s amusing the first time you’ve got the chance to ask Alp to ignite someone in Tsukubo-cho, butkeeping the right spread of Investigation Skillsat all times is the best way to ensure you won’t hit any investigative snags progressing the story.
If nothing else, keep Pyro and Skill Order demons with you - their skills are the ones you’ll need the most.
These abilities for your devils allow them to do all kinds of things:most skills are related to the main storyand will help you further the progressionof Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, but there are several that are a bit less straightforward.
If you’re ever confused, head to the Status menu in your main menu, enter the Configuration menu, and scroll over to the Investigation Skills screen. You’ll even see a peek of what the skill does in battle from here, too.
Captivates an enemy demon while exploring.
Cool Down
Chance to freeze enemy demons while exploring, making for easy combat wins.
Demonstrate
An unpredictable outcome occurs for this demon on specific phases of the moon.
Fly
Send this devil to higher-up places to obtain items or find hidden secrets.
Ignite
Reignites a human’s soul and changes their attitude about the current situation.
Inspect
Look closer at the area nearby to reveal hidden objects or story-progression keys.
Read Mind
Hears the thoughts of a human character who may be unwilling to cooperate verbally.
Highlights any demons and loot in the nearby area.
Sneak
This devil can enter places that Raidou can’t enter (due to size, locked doors, story prohibitions, etc.)
Use Force
Force the investigation forward despite opposition from other human characters.
