Sparks can be tricky as they are decided randomly, but there are a few ways to increase your chances of getting them. There are also various kinds of sparks, which make the mechanics slightly complicated. Regardless, they add some replayability value to the game as it will take you a few tries to get them right.
What Are Sparks
Sparks allow you toobtain additional stats from your Legacy Umamusume. It’s a key mechanic to get your attributes high enough tocompete with other players in PvP team trials mode.
Sparks helps you win the Ura Finale during your career, as youreceive Legacy Inspiration events throughout your career. You will also get a boost in stats just before you start your career.
Legacy Inspiration event usually triggers around the middle of your early career, and the second-to-last race of your Umamusume. You may not activate every spark that you have.
At the end of your career,your Umamusume’s sparks will be calculated on her career card, which is random. They depend on the stats you accumulated and the aptitudes that you built upon. You canpass these on to other racersyou own to make them perform well. Sparks havethree levels donated by stars;the higher it is, the more boosts you are going to get.
The sparks on the sub-legacies of the characters can also give you additional boosts.

Try toincrease the stats of the attribute that you want to pass onto other characters. Ideally, you canfarm a single stat as high as possibleto substantially increase the odds of getting significant sparks.
Pink
Your racer will beinspired by other Umamusume legacies to increase their aptitude rankings. They will be randomly selected, and you may use their legacy to improve your next racer.
Green
Only three-star characters can pass on their unique skill sparksto others. You should try toupgrade your unique skillsto have better sparks.
White
You canacquire skills throughout your careerfor a specific character, so yournext racer can obtain the hint levelsfor them. You may get more hint levels if yoursub-legacy characters learned that skill as well.
