Eagle-eyedHollow Knight: Silksongfans have pointed out that the game’sSteampage has been updated a whopping five times in the past few days, giving us all hope that something is on the way.

Going into Xbox’s Summer Showcase last month, pretty much all of us agreed that it wasfinally going to be the moment that poor Hollow Knight fans had been waiting for. As we all know now, though, that was far from the case, andwhat was actually shown ended up annoying everyone even more.

Instead of giving us a release window or new trailer,Xbox decided to play a few seconds of footage while confirming Silksong was coming at some pointthis year. It was a bitter moment that was only made a little better whenTeam Cherry finally said anything about it and confirmed it’s not tied to Xboxand coming before the holidays. It seems that it might be sooner rather than later.

As if Hollow Knight fans didn’t have enough copium, Silksong’s just been updated a bunch

The last update was even two hours ago

Over on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, Redditor ReFlectioH pointed out that Hollow Knight: Silksong’s Steam page has been updated an alarming number of times in the past few days.Taking a look at SteamDB reveals that Silksong’s page has seen five whole updates in the past four days, which is much more than usual.

While Silksonghasseen some updates here and there over the past few months, there’s never been such a solid string of them. They’re usually very far apart from one another and within a few days at the least, while this batch of updates all happened back to back from the start of the month.

If, like me, you’re wondering what the heck it could all mean and whether we’re being skonged or not, SteamDB unfortunately doesn’t tell us much. All five of the updates simply say “ChangeNumber"unlike a more recent one which specifically mentioned changing a trailer. That’s very vague, which is pretty in-line with Silksong as a whole.

Even some of the recent updates to Silksong’s Steam page happened as far back as four months ago.We probably all took that as a sign at the time too.

Still, there is some hope that all of the changes being made to the Steam page are in preparation for any kind of announcement in the near future. It does seem like a lot of updates to be making if Silksong is still a few months away from getting a new trailer or reveal, so we’ll have to take it as that for now.
