Call of the Night is a prime example of a slice-of-life anime that perfectly captures its atmosphere and vibes, incorporating supernatural elements to create a dreamy and surreal experience. The story revolves around a boy named Kou Yamori, who begins walking the nighttime streets due to insomnia.

However, one night, he runs into a mysterious girl named Nazuna Nanakusa, who convinces him to go back to her place, where she bites him on the neck, revealing she’s a vampire. But, aside from that, it’s about what you expect. It’s cute, fun, and enjoyableall the way through, with splashes of romance and drama sprinkled throughout, but nothing too major!

Comedy, Music

Lastly, we have the obvious choice and arguably the best slice-of-life anime on Hidive with K-On!, which begins with Yui Hirasawa signing up for the Light Music Club under the assumption that its focus was on playing simple instruments.

When Yui attempts to disband due to the slight mix-up, the club tries to bribe her to stay with anything they can think of, ranging from snacks to free time to use to slack off, as the club is close to being disbanded due to the lack of members.

Yui politely declines the offer, but the members make one last attempt and play a song for her, which kickstarts her interest in learning to play more complex instruments. This is just a feel-good show, and it only gets better from here, making it an easy recommendation!
