Elden Ring Nightreign’sstart to life has been a bit of a mixed bag. Despitea slightly tepid reception, it becameone of FromSoftware’s best-reviewed games of all time, andmore than 300,000 players jumped in togetherat the game’s launch, with it selling over two million copies almost instantly.
Unfortunately, while the game reached a staggering number of players, it wasn’t without its complaints. Itlaunched to “Mixed” reviews on Steam, where it still currently sits, with FromSoftware admitting there were issues withSolo balancingandthe game’s matchmaking.
Now, in its early efforts to rectify player complaints, Nightreign’s developers have confirmed the game is going down for maintenance today, and here is the full schedule.
FromSoftware Reveals Elden Ring Nightreign Maintenance Schedule For June 2
In a post on itssocial media accounts, FromSoftware confirmed the following schedule for Elden Ring Nightreign:
It adds that the maintenance will last for “three hours on all platforms.”
Within just a few days of launch, this will bethe third patchthat Elden Ring Nightreign has received, showing FromSoftware’s commitment to making the game enjoyable for all.
This patch, 1.01.1, isn’t the only update the game will be receiving this week, either. FromSoftwareconfirmedthat it is hard at work on version 1.02, and that it plans to release it later this week. This new version will “include several bug fixes, as well as improvements for solo expeditions.”
It confirmed as part of the update, solo expeditioners will get one automatic revival per night boss battle, and the amount of runes received will be increased.
With Nightreign launching in a less-than-optimal state, players have been hard at work fixing the game themselves. So far, there have been mods tomake single-player more balancedand toadd a much-requested duos mode,
