Arrowhead set up a cryptic live stream a few days ago, and while we were busy trying to decipher it, Illuminate forces have come out of the singularity and are attacking the very home of democracy and liberty. New, more powerful Illuminate forces have also been spotted on battlefields across the galaxy.
Super Earth Is Under Attack From The Illuminate Main Force
Attention, Helldivers: This is a Galactic Emergency," said a post on the Helldivers 2 Twitter account. “The true Illuminate invasion has begun. However, it’s not all dire news. In an attempt to fight off this invasion, Super Earth has also unveiled the Helldiver Weapon Customization Programme. You’ll now be able to level up weapons as you use them, unlocking attachments, cosmetics, and stat upgrades with each level, like in Call of Duty. This is a feature that fans have been requesting for a while, and it seems the devs revealed it in Super Earth’s darkest hour.
Additionally, the Super Store is also getting an emergency expansion. This means that you don’t have to wait for an item you want to cycle around, all the items on the store will be accessible at will.
