Summary
Helldivers 2has been pretty quiet recently, with many fans waiting for what Arrowhead has been working on next. In fact, it’s been so long since Helldivers 2 got a big update thatArrowhead had to make a statement on Twitterexplaining that “we are cooking”, and we finally got a taste of that meal witha new Warbond announced today called Masters of Ceremony.
Like usual, the Warbond has a couple of armor sets, banners, caps, emotes, and all that good stuff. Unfortunately, a lot of fans aren’t very pleased with the Warbond this time around, as many are disappointed with the lack of interesting stuff in it, as well as the amount of content overall.
Helldivers 2 Fans Are Up In Arms Over “Low Value” Masters Of Ceremony Warbond
You can see a lot of the disappointmentin a post by Reddit user Kittenjion the Helldivers subreddit, as people appear to be happy with the cosmetic side of the Warbond, but not much else. For example, a user called Herz-of-iron78 calls the armor’s passive ability a “worse servo-assisted reskin”, while Pedrosion96 calls it the “lowest value Warbond yet”.
Electronic-Flower921 takes a shot at the entire Warbond system, claiming Warbonds are starting to have “less stuff each time” despite staying at the same price, with another user pointing out that the longer time to make them doesn’t appear to have increased their quality as the devs promised a while ago.
A lot of people seem to think that the flag stratagem may be the saving grace of the entire Warbond, but only if it has a unique effect. If it’s just a flag you can wave around and stab things with, then the disappointment could arguably worsen. Hopefully, Arrowhead’s promise that we’ll “s*** our pants” over this next content drop is referring to the next update, rather than this Warbond. Otherwise, Arrowhead is in trouble.
