Grounded 2is an open-world Survival Crafting game that has a ton of progression. While you can go to any part of the map in the beginning, you won’t stand a chance against the advanced foes unless you upgrade your gear, and the workbench is one of the main requirements to do that.

If you’ve played any Survival Crafting game before, you likely already know just how important a workbench can be. You won’t be able to craft most of your items unless you’re doing it on this table, and here’s how you may make one for yourself.

How To Unlock The Workbench

When you first start playing Grounded 2, you’ll go through a small tutorial of basic controls until you get out of the building that you spawn in. After this, you have to progress the main quest until youreach the Ranger Outpost on the southern edge of the Snackbar Front area. This will happen within the first hour of your gameplay.

In this outpost, you’ll find an Omni-Axe, which will be the tool required to cut down various trees and bushes. Once you have this item, you’re able to head back out and chop down some grass nearby. This will give you Grass Planks, which you can then analyze on the Resource Analyzer inside the outpost to unlock the workbench.

How To Make The Workbench

Once you’ve acquired the Workbench blueprint by analyzing Grass Plank, head over to the location where you want to build the workbench. Once there, press the button to bring up your construction radial, which is B on the Keyboard and the upper arrow on the Controller by default. You’ll be able to see the workbench as you move through different pages of this radial.

Select the workbench and you’llget a transparent version letting you place it wherever you want. You can also rotate this on both X and Y axes. After you place the workbench, you can easily build it by submitting the following materials:three Grass Planks, four Sprigs, and two Sap.
