WhileGrounded 2might have quite a detailed story, it’s still mainly a Survival Crafting game, which means that you’ll constantly be fighting enemies and keeping track of your hunger and thirst. Of course, as you progress through the areas, you’ll also find advanced foes and need better equipment to deal with them.

Out of all your equipment, one of the main things you’ll have to make is a bow. However, to make arrows for using this bow, you’ll need to get some Thistle Needles. While these aren’t easy to spot, they are easy to farm after you learn where they exist.

How To Find Thistle Needles

As you analyze different resources in Grounded 2, you’ll unlock the arrows after analyzing the Mite Fuzz. These will, however, require Thistle Needles for crafting. To get Thistle Needles, you have tolook out for specific plants with giant leaves and a purple-colored flowerat the top. This can be done in two ways:

Once you find this plant, you’re able to easily find Thistle Needles stuck to its branch. The leaves are set in a way that youcan climb them as you claim multiple Thistle Needles on your way. By the time you get to the top, you’ll easily get 30-40 Thistle Needles from just one of these plants.

How To Locate Thistle Needle Plants

Apart from just going through the map until you find one of the purple flower plants, you can also just look at your map. Zoom in as far as you can and you’ll notice small purple-colored flower icons in the correct areas, with the best one being the Snackbar Front. For example, you can find a cluster of three of these flowers right below where Snackbar Front is written on the map.

Once you locate it,you may mark the area and then follow it to easily reach the plant. Since one plant gives you a ton of Thistle Needles, you don’t have to farm for a long time. However, these needles can only stack up to ten times in your inventory, so you’ll need a ton of slots to store them.
