After making a bit of progress inGrounded 2, you’ll reach your first Ranger Outpost where you can find various Omni-Tools and their upgrades. This is the main progression system of the game as these upgrades let you destroy high-tier items, making more resources available to you.
However, one of the main upgrades that you’ll likely get stuck at is the Omni-Shovel since it needs you to farm some Grass Seeds. While the actual farming of this resource is easy, it can be a little difficult to find it for the first time.
Grounded 2 is currently in Early Access, and all the content of this article is subject to change.
How To Get Grass Seeds
As soon as you enter the world of Grounded 2 and go through the tutorial, you’ll already find yourself in a giant open world where the only limit is the walls on the edges of the map. While there are different biomes in the game, one thing that’scommon among most of them is the grass scattered throughout the park.
With all this grass around, you’ll easily be able to find its seeds if you know where to look. To get grass seeds, you canturn your camera high up and find the grass that has a white flower on top of it. When you get close to the spot where this grass is coming out of the ground, you’ll see Grass Flower written instead of normal Grass.
The first step to getting Grass Seeds is getting anOmni-Axe from the Ranger Outpost to the south of Snackbar Front. Once you have it, chop down these Grass Flower plants and you have achance of getting Grass Seedson the ground when they fall. If you get one, you’ll easily be able to see it among the Grass Planks.
Unlike the planks, you don’t have to carry these seeds on hand as they can fit in your inventory. Simply chop down a few Grass Flower plantsuntil you get a few seeds and then you can use them to craft anything you want, including the Omni-Shovel.
