For a game that had every intention of releasing this year, before being delayed into next year, there’s still a whole lot we don’t know aboutGrand Theft Auto 6. Even with two trailers to its name, a lot is still unknown, leading to some wild fan theories and speculation.
Perhaps the thing gamers are most curious aboutis whether GTA 6 will be 60fps on consoles, or if its significant level of detail and content will force the game to be 30fps.Given how important 60fps has become for gamers, it seems rather non-negotiable. That said, in the event the game does launch at 30fps, one fan has a genius way to prepare for things.
Nothing Like Training Your Eyeballs To Make 30fps Feel Revolutionary
Taking to Twitter, GameRoll, a Grand Theft Auto fan and content creator, shared that they will be training their eyeballs in the event the game is not in the glorious 60fps that we’ve all grown accustomed to.
Specifically, the creator noted that in the month leading up to the game’s release, which would be April, barring any last-minute delay, they will begin locking their games at 25fps. That will help them adjust to a lower frame rate.
Then, when the game does finally launch, presumably at 30fps, that upgrade of 5fps will feel like a tremendous upgrade.
Unfortunately, before they begin training their eyeballs to withstand 25fps gameplay, they might want to get back their Twitter account. In the time it took to write this article, GameRoll had their account suspended out of the blue. As it stands, it’s unclear why the user had their account removed, with many in the larger GTA community calling for a reinstatement.
