The Scarlet & Violet era reshaped thePokemon TCGin several ways, including catapulting its popularity and introducing new products to collect, including an expanded list of Premium Tournament Collections. These collections come in rectangular boxes that resemble milk cartons and feature all the necessary items you’ll need for competitive tournament play.
While the packs featured in each Premium Tournament Collection will vary, you’re able to expect to find 65 deck sleeves, six damage dice, two status condition markers, a coin, and a deck box to store your cards in. These standards provide everything you need to get ready for competitions, including some trainer cards of the character on the box.
Boxes are ordered according to theirTCGplayermarket price, which is subject to change.
6Lillie Premium Tournament Collection Box – $49.30
Lillie Lagging Behind?
The Lillie Premium Tournament Collection box is one of the most recent additions to this collection of valuable boxes, which explains why it isn’t more expensive yet. If you check outLillie’s valuable roster of Pokemon TCG cards, her popularity will become clear, which makes this box’s value slightly disappointing.
This box was released on July 05, 2025.
However, to keep it in context, this box’s recent availability at MSRP explains why its price on the secondary market has yet to soar to the heights that some of the other most popular trainers have reached. Furthermore, the Scarlet & Violet setsincluded in this product haven’t reached the prices of some of the best Sword & Shield products you’ll find in other boxes.
5Klara Premium Tournament Collection Box – $52.07
Sword & Shield Packs Please
While Klara isn’t nearly as popular as Lillie is, this Premium Tournament Collection box earns a higher price tag, largely thanks to the possible Sword & Shield packs you’ll find inside. While the packs are randomized, you’ll also have a guaranteed set of Klara promo cards, along with her Galarian Slowking and Galarian Weezing.
However, despite her solid collection of promo cards, Klara falls just short of another trainer whose Premium Tournament Collection box was released at the same time; talk about stealing her thunder. However, given the unique set of promos, there was decent enough reason to buy both boxes, even if you didn’t expect the Sword & Shield era packs to appreciate like they have.
4Cyrus Premium Tournament Collection Box – $53.20
Climbing The Ladder
This Cyrus Premium Tournament Collection was released alongside Klara’s version in late March 2023 and also included a random assortment ofpacks from the Sword & Shield era.Instead of promo cards featuring Cyrus' favorite partner Pokemon, this box came with the Boss' Orders promo, which depicted Cyrus, not Giovanni, who also has a card of the same name.
Despite his role as the evil administrator of Team Galactic, Cyrus gains the upper hand on Klara for now, though things may shift once these boxes become harder to find. The Galarian Pokemon are a possible draw that might favor Klara, but that may require enough time to pass for that region to be considered nostalgic before the tables turn.
3Iono Premium Tournament Collection Box – $61.52
Paldea’s Premier Streamer
When Iono walks in, everyone stops to admire their favorite Paldean streamer, and her brightly colored Premium Tournament Collection box is as vibrant and energetic as Iono is.Iono’s roster of valuable cardsis already impressive despite her short TCG career, thanks to her overwhelming popularity and memorable appearance in the mainline game.
The star design on the front is the perfect choice for this camera-loving Gym Leader, as her persona revolves around being seen, heard, and admired by her adoring fans. Expect Iono’s price to skyrocket once the Scarlet & Violet era is far behind us, as the packs will steadily rise in price as the supply dwindles.
2Professor Juniper Premium Tournament Collection Box – $71.12
Study The Contents
Professor Juniper might not be the most memorable characterin the series, but she’s still a Pokemon Professor who deserves the spotlight. Juniper was the first female professor ever, and opened the door for more women to assume the Pokemon Professor title, like Sonia and Sada.
Aside from paving the way for more inclusivity in the Pokemon world, Professor Juniper’s valuable Tournament Collection box is one of the oldest on this list, releasing in mid-2022. In addition to the three promo cards featuring the professor, you’ll also find a Professor’s Research card to collect.
1Marnie Premium Tournament Collection Box – $87.47
Popularity & Premium Packs
Marnie claims the crown as the most expensive Premium Tournament Collection, thanks in large part to the trainer’s popularity, and further amplified by this box’s age. Given its August 2021 release date, this collection box is the oldest of its kind and features a striking choice of colors that perfectly reflect Marnie’s color scheme.
Given the release timing, you should expect to find a collection of some of the earlier Sword & Shield sets in these Premium Tournament Collection boxes.
