To tempt players into buying a game before they can play it, studios need to offer pre-order bonuses, and Ghost of Yotei has a couple of them. Regardless of the edition you buy, if you order it before October 2,you’ll get a mask for Atsu to wear in-game(not the physical one, we’ll cover that in a second). While you naturally won’t be able to make the most of that until Yotei is released, if you pre-order the game through the PlayStation Store,the PSN avatars will be unlocked immediately.
There are three editions of Ghost of Yotei to choose from -standard, digital deluxe, and collector’s. The standard edition is the only one that will get you a physical copy of the game, depending on where you place your pre-order. Even the collector’s edition only comes with a digital copy of the game. You do get a lot of other physical extras with the collector’s edition that don’t come with the other editions, though. Among them are art cards, a papercraft tree, and that mask, as promised, following on from the Jin mask that came with the collector’s edition.
