Sega delisted more than 60 classic games from all platformsat the end of 2024, and now it has those same sights set on the mobile ports of some of those classics. Nine games are being removed from storefronts soon, so this is your last chance to grab them before they’re potentially gone forever.

AlthoughSegahasn’t shared any official confirmation that the nine games will be removed from mobile storefronts soon,Wario64shared screenshots of in-game notifications confirming the news. The notification informs players that support for the games will be ending soon, meaning they’ll be removed from storefronts, but the games will still be playable offline provided you already own them.

That means time is ticking for those who don’t already have the games downloaded on their phones, and there’s no telling when that timer might go off. At the time of typing this, the nine games in question are still available, and you can find them by searching in the app store on iOS and Android devices.

Sega Is Delisting Games Again, This Time On Mobile

There are some fantastic games in there as well, and while playing them on mobile feels a little different, for the most part, the ports are very similar to the original games.Crazy Taxi,Sonic CD, and Golden Axe are among them, all with Classic tacked on the end to differentiate the mobile versions from the full console andPCversions of the games, most of which disappeared from various other virtual storefronts at the end of last year during Sega’s prior round of delistings.

Some very big games in there, and even if you don’t plan on playing them right away, if you ever think you might be interested in giving them a go, download them now before it’s too late. As for why Sega continues to remove classic games from all platforms, that remains unclear, but you have to think there’s something bigger at play.

Some of the same games, including Crazy Taxi and Golden Axe, were among the much longer list of games removed from console and PC storefronts in 2024. Sega is presumably still working on its various revivals of its classics, like Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio, but hasn’t provided an update on those projects for a while. The studio’s president alsohinted at Sega having its own game streaming platformin the future, which might have something to do with all this.
