Summary
Funko revealed a new way to collect its smallest Pops earlier this yearvia Bitty Pop arcades. The new collectibles put iconic characters inside small arcade machines, and after kicking the collection off with characters fromSonic the HedgehogandFive Nights At Freddy’s,Star Warsis about to get in on the fun.
Since we’re now only three days removed from May 4, better known in select circles as Star Wars Day, Funko has revealed all of the new Star Wars Bitty Pop products that will be coming our way to mark the occasion (thanks,Funko Pop News). Topping the bill is the new Bitty Pop Arcade. Designed to look like a classic Star Wars arcade machine, the cabinet will come with a tiny Luke Skywalker that lives inside it, designed to look like the Jedi is in the game.
If you don’t want your little Luke living inside an arcade machine. Funko has also revealeda similar Bitty Pop accessory modeled after the speeder Luke drives in A New Hope. The Speeder also comes with a matching Bitty Pop, though I’m sure you could put other tiny characters in there, which brings us neatly onto our third and final Funko reveal to celebrate Star Wars Day.

It’s Okay, He Wants To Be In There
If you’re new to the world of Star Wars Bitty Pops, you will be able to kick off your collection by picking up figures two at a time very soon. Funko has revealed it will be pairing some of the franchise’s more notable characters up via Bitty Pop two-packs. Two two-packs have been revealed - one that includes miniature Funko versions ofDarth Vader and a Stormtrooper, and other witha little Leia and a tiny R2-D2.
When exactly any of the above will be available is unclear, but with Star Wars Day almost upon us, you’d have to think they start to appear at Funko, and potentially other third-party retailers, very soon. It’s possible Funko waits until early next week to open pre-orders, but with Star Wars Day falling on Sunday, that would be a little odd.
Whether the new Bitty Pops and their accessories drop in time for May 4 or not, there’s a lot of stuff for fans of Star Wars collectibles to get excited about this week.Pre-orders are now open for a Darth Nihilus statue, one of the main antagonists from Knights Of The Old Republic 2, andTheGamer exclusively revealed a new Cal Kestis Black Series figurealong with Black Series debuts for Turgle and Merrin during last month’s Star Wars Celebration.
