You’ve gotten a taste of filling out your Kindex over on Stellaris Prime inRevenge of the Savage Planet, and while some of these things will carry over to the next planet, Xephyr, you’ll find a whole new list of scannables on this whole new planet.
You’ll once again have the optional side quest to keep working on filling your Kindex to 100 percent in Revenge of the Savage Planet, so get yourself over to Xephyr and get to scanning! You’ll find plenty of things as you pursue the main story, but there are dozens of hidden scannables on Xephyr.
You’ll notice that there’s plenty of crossover with the scannables from Stellaris Primewhen you arrive, since you’ll have anything that’s also from Stellaris Prime already added to the complete Xephyr Kindex. If something sounds familiar, you may have already scanned iton the last planet, but we’ve included them for posterity.
All Flora Scannables
While the planet may be mostly desert, you’ll still find plenty of lush, gorgeous plant life around Xephyr available to scan for the Kindex.
Plants with pink and green butterfly-like wings.
Large barren tree branches jutting from water.
Cactus Mushroom
Wide, flat mushroom-like growths with green and pink markings like flowering cacti.
Glacies Crepito
These appear to be strawberry ice cream cone-like flowers on white stems.
Subtemine Flos
Large green and pink cacti with a quilted pattern and purple seed-like markings on each diamond.
Nuda Arbor
Extremely pale whitish trees in the deserts with spikes on the trunk and sparse foliage at the top.
Orange rocks growing in clumps from the dirt.
Kormate Michunda
Tall, stocky green cactus with spiky pink flowers that have orange stamen.
Extremely talk traditional-looking green cactus trees.
La Alergria Del Sol
Succulent with blue leaves and purple edges, like a negative version of the Extremus Wordus.
Green banana-like leaves growing from the ground with pink tips.
Phavah Ben
Green “fava bean looking” leaves growing in bunches from the dirt with orange edges on the leaves.

Large plumes of grounded light green leaves growing in vegetative areas.

Tall, dark green cacti with several yellow eyes around the trunk.

Large twisting thorny vines coming from the ground in grassy areas.

A tall tree with red arm-like branches, each with a pink and green flower, growing from the yellowish trunk.

Tall, flat succulents with purple edges on spiked green fronds, most with pink growths coming off the top.

Tall green groups of cactus stems with an almost avocado-like texture.
Large walnut-like plants low to the ground.

Large star-like spiky flowers with glowing blue ends on the purple petals.

A lilypad in the water with a blue and purple flower in the center.
Smaller rib bones.
Tar Pit Leech
Grayish blue pumpkin-like plants on stems with purple growths on them.
A large dirty blue beetle corpse in the dirt.

Purple plant with thin green leaves that almost looks like it’s melting.
Greasy Lambet
Large purple and blue egg-like plants that almost look like they’re melting.

All Fauna Scannables
Ready for a new group of adorable creatures on Xephyr?Plenty of them can be staggered and captured, where they’ll be zipped back to the Xephyr-specific pen you called down back in Nu Florida before coming over to the next planet.

Puffer Fox
Orange fox heads with green eyes and small black chicken feet.
Orange lizard-like critters three small horns and blue splotches.
Scorpio Puffer
Purple beetle-like heads with blue eyes and small wings on their backs.
Fecal Beetle
The purple beetles with blue and purple egg sacs on their back.
Buzzards with two heads flying overhead.
Dragonfly Ray
A blue, X-shaped critter with large crossed eyes and orange on the underside of its wings.
Vaperon
Large green flying mantises with talons for melee fighting and the ability to spit barbs at you from afar.
Bonefly
Like Slitherflies but with harder shells, requiring more ammo to take them out.
Alpha Vaperon
A larger pink Vaperon that appears after you’ve defeated orcaptured the Vaperonnearby in certain spots.
Curadora
Indigo butterflies that are harmless on their own but will heal nearby enemies when you’re engaged in combat.
Red snapping flowers with large angry mouths.
Grab Grub
A large pink and purple creature lurking in the sandwaiting to lasso you in with its whip-like tongue.
Orange, pink, blue, and purple fishfound swimming underwater.
Small purple and yellow bats with green eyes in caves.
Giant Worm Egg
Saggy pink egg monsters that emit blue caterpillar-like enemies with a round mouth full of sharp teeth.

All Hazard And Obstacle Scannables
Plenty of the obstacles you’ll find on Xephyr are repeats from Stellaris Prime, but there are a few important new additions you’ll need to know how to navigate in order to survive the inhospitable desert planet.
Ferrous Petals
Black and red electrical worm-like growths around important items like supply crates.
White mushroom with a light blue acorn-like cap.
Grapple… Thing
Blue coral-like growths from higher ledges that you can grapple to in order to reach new heights.
Crystal Barrier
A black and blue crystal door that can be broken by throwing Metallic Chunks nearby.
Spiky Balls
Brain-like plants that are low to the ground with large yellowish fang-like growths.
Easily breakable purple crystalline growths blocking your paths.
Dehydrated Fungal Polyp
Dry-looking brown growth on branches growing from the sides of rock formations that can be sprayed with water to make new platforms.
Insect Nest
Circular grayish nests hanging from walls with blue and pink fly-eye patterns inside.
Fungal Generator
White and blue mushrooms like the Fungal Receptors, sparking with electricity.
Metallic Mega Chunk
Blue and black metal chunks you’ll find near the Crystal Barrier doors.
Light rails you can ride with your grappling hook.
Toxic Gas
Poisonous fumes you’ll need a suit upgrade to be able to breathe without taking slow but steady damage.
Blobulous
Green and purple egg sac-like growths that can be cleared when smacked with your whip.
Tar Sand
Tar pits within the desert, visible from the map once you’ve been in the area.
Dry red membranes spread across pathways as path-blockers.
All Region Scannables
The final section of the Xephyr Kindex fills automatically when you enter each of the 12 regions on the planet.
Description and Location
Greater Sand Sea
You crash-land in this area when you first arrive on Xephyr.
The Frangipane Drifts
This is where you’ll findthe inactive teleporterwhen you first arrive on Xephyr, which you’ll need the Goo Ingestor upgrade to access.
G’nortt’s High Rise
The mountainous region between the Pillars of Turpitude in the south and the Sand Wastes in the north, mostly in the center of the map of Xephyr.
Cactus Valley
The medium-sized area in the center of the map with plenty of greenery to scan for the Flora collection of your Kindex!
Great Oasis
The large lake and plant-filled area in the northeast part of the map, with an entrance to the depths near its teleporter for easy access.
The Pillars of Turpitude
The large desert with the tar pits in the southernmost area of Xephyr.
The Caves of Miranyth
The cave system in the depths you’ll enter from the Great Oasis.
Stone Aerie
The caves you’ll enter for Martin Tweed from Gnortt’s High Rise
Larval Roost
The sandy area in the north, top-most part of the map full of enemies (and, unfortunately, important gear for the Goo Ingestor).
Deadwood Gulch
The northwest part of the planet where you fend off the assorted enemy hordes to hack the machine here for part of your Goo Ingestor.
Crystal Pillars
The extremely large swath of sand blocking your path to the Great Oasis from most of the other regions of Xephyr.
Sand Wastes
The large swaths of sand in the northwest area of the map that you’ll need to cross somewhere to get to Deadwood Gulch.
