Summary
It’s only been a little more than a year since the release ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. That probably means it’s going to be a while before we see anything new fromFinal Fantasy 7’s world. If you need something to get you through that extended period, Adorable Arts versions of some of its core characters are available for a lot less than usual in Amazon’s Memorial Day sale.
Square Enixhas turned Final Fantasy 7’s characters into a lot of collectibles. Most of the figures and statues are intended to look just like the characters in the games. Since the iconic game’s story is being retold with the vastly improved graphics at Square’s disposal, it only makes sense that when there’s an opportunity to turn a character into a collectible, they show off those improved graphics in a physical action figure form.
Adorable Arts figures are a little different. They give Final Fantasy 7’s characters a chibi makeover, making them look closer to their original,PS1forms, if anything, their sharp edges and polygons smoothed out. Cloud was naturally one of the first FF7 characters to be given the Adorable Arts treatment based on his appearance inFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, thenZack and Tifa joined him following the launch of Rebirth.
Cloud, Tifa, And Zack Looking More Adorable Than Ever
Not To Mention Cheaper Than Ever, Too
There aremore characters from the Final Fantasy 7 party that have been turned into Adorable Arts figures, butit’s Cloud, Tifa, and Zack that have had their prices cut on Amazonfor Memorial Day. Most notably, Cloud, whose figure has received the deepest discount of all. The figure, which usually costs $100, iscurrently available for 40 percent off, bringing its price down to $60.
The Zack and Tifa figures aren’t discounted by quite as much as Cloud’s, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. For starters, their usual price is $73, sothe 15 percent discount on each brings them down to $62, almost as cheap as Cloud’s. The Zack and Tifa figures are also harder to find. While Cloud is currently available directly from Square, Cloud and Tifa are not.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake/Rebirth Adorable Arts Figures
Square Enix has given characters from Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth chibi makeovers for its Adorable Arts collection of figures. Each character’s figure comes with accessories and can be posed in different ways, and all are on circular stands so that they don’t fall down while in those poses.
While there doesn’t appear to be a time limit attached to the Adorable Arts figure discounts, all three have Limited Time Deal badges, and the Zack and Tifa figures are already well on their way to selling out. The Tifa figure, in particular, had sold 47 percent of the stock available according toan Amazon link shared by Cheap Ass Gamer.
